Never in doubt! Us and Essex should really cruise this group, but I can see us messing up against Derbyshire, especially if Law is playingWhoops!! - here's hoping Faff and Croft keep their nerve

Yes fully expect those two teams to shape up as the sides to beat. Essex certainly, and will take some performance from another county to stop them regaining the FP Trophy. Availability of Bopara and Napier may also play its part.Never in doubt! Us and Essex should really cruise this group, but I can see us messing up against Derbyshire, especially if Law is playing
Yes, Kaneria is due into England tomorrow, and should be available for the County Championship game against Kent on Wednesday. Good news.To any Essex fans: Has Danish Kaneria's visa arrived?
Yes grim at the minute, I believe the rain is scheduled to clear today, although it will supposedly return tomorrow. Wednesday looks a decent day mind.Looking pretty grim outside here in Manchester and its set to continue this way most of the week, certainly the forecast for Thursday looks dreadful and there's predicted to be rain on every day..could be a draw this week, tough game anyway would probably take a draw
I vaguely follow Essex and have no doubt that he will do well and take wickets regardless of whether it is wet or dry. Westfield, who has been injury prone, came with superb returns against West Indies in the tour match - look forward to seeing how he progresses through the season.Yes, Kaneria is due into England tomorrow, and should be available for the County Championship game against Kent on Wednesday. What specifically does he say about Chambers, I hear a lot about him but rarely get specifics.I spent today with Graham Gooch (part of a coaching day / guided tour of Lord's) and he spoke very highly of the Essex youngsters. In particular Chambers who he rates very very highly, and also Westfield.
That he's quick and will get quicker and is a "serious bowler". And that he's a very impressive physical specimen. What specifically does he say about Chambers, I hear a lot about him but rarely get specifics.
From what I've seen, he is 78-82mph, but people keep yapping on about the pace, something which intrigues me, to no end. He does look like an athlete though, got a bounding approach and action, flies through the crease with fluidity. That he's quick and will get quicker and is a "serious bowler". Essex have always been my side, despite me living in Manchester. When you are one of three brothers, we always had to choose to different sides and unfortunately our local side, Lancs, was gone, although I do follow them also.I vaguely follow Essex and have no doubt that he will do well and take wickets regardless of whether it is wet or dry. Huh?From what I've seen, he is 78-82mph, but people keep yapping on about the pace
Unless he is only 15 lol, that isn't very quick. From what I've seen, he is 78-82mph, but people keep yapping on about the pace, something which intrigues me, to no end. He does look like an athlete though, got a bounding approach and action, flies through the crease with fluidity.
