Everyone said this going into 'Mania though, but nothing happened. I'm gearing up to be disappointed.
If it's Triple H going over again I think disappointed is the right word. I'll be watching Backlash mainly for Chris Jericho vs Ricky Steamboat if they do go ahead with it and Jack Swagger vs Christian again if they go ahead with it.

not really... this feud has to have Orton going over now.. Maybe with Shane O Mac lying down for Orton??? Otherwise for this to make sense, Batista would have to turn on Triple H... Or we might end up seeing the Legacy turn on Orton and Trips turn on Batista... Which would turn both Batista and Orton face and turn Triple H heel...

But mainly, I expect to see Vince say he is fed up of Shane, Steph and Hunter and he will screw them and team up wtih Orton, ths giving him the title..

The impact of Vince or Shane turning heel would have been so much bigger if it had been at Mania and therefore immediate in relation to their comeback. Like when Vince turned heel on The Rock in 2000, it wasn't the biggest shock ever, but it was huge because it happened at Mania, and like a week after he had returned to TV

You are just confusing me. Why would Batista turn on Triple H? Batista has just come back, he has absolutely nothing to do with Legacy in that he's not a 2nd Generation Star and do you think that WWE are going to sacrifice all that merchandise money Batista generates by being popular with little kids?

Why would Legacy turn on Orton and side with the McMahons? Their group has only just begun and if you want to get the most out of Rhodes and DiBiase you need to let the group dissolve on its own like Evolution did. I think you are seriously overthinking the situatiion and WWE isn't TNA, they don't like to do such dramatic Face-Heel switches.

Now Vince teaming up with Randy Orton, doesn't make sense since nobody would team up with a guy who kicked you in the head but for some strange reason I can see it happening, especially with Vince now out of the match itself.

Someone will pin Rhodes thus Randy gets pissed and then the others get sick of him and turn or Randy will pin Shane and HHH will get pissed and turn

or it could be clean :D

Remember how we all expected a bull**** ending at 'Mania, just because this is an angle featuring the McMahons? And remember how we were all disappointed when the only interference came from a sledgehammer?

The match will almost certainly end with Orton pinning Shane O'Mac, which is a satisfactory alternative if Triple H is going to refuse to lose to Orton cleanly.

That's why i've been thinking that Shane0Mac will join forces with Legacy

I have had about six hours of Ric Flair on my TV this afternoon - watched disc 1 of the definitive collection, basically a documentary on his career, and then stuck disc 3 on, which has a match with Piper from 91, Steamboat from 94, Triple H from 05 and HBK from last year, then the very moving farewell Raw, including everything that happened when Raw finished. There are also some of his best ever promos. it is quite a watch.

Tomorrow I will probably sit and watch disc 2 which has his 80s matches on ie his best matches

Flair is God

Stretcher match was decent tonight and enjoyed the Edge-Cena segment, the rest of Smackdown was a little bit flat after a highly enjoyable Raw (watched it last night).

Wondering what type of match Jeff & Matt will have at Backlash. Conventional wisdom suggests a TLC match, I would love to see them bring out the cell for this. Thoughts?

I don't necessarily think the two will have a match at Backlash. I can see Matt potentially being drafted to Raw next Monday.

Edge-Cena segment was fantastic for mine, I loved how Cena tied in their 2006 feud to this year's goings-on. Makes it seem like a bigger deal in the same way that the Triple H-Orton feud is (in a less effective way) the culmination of more than six years of association between the two.

Maybe I'm just a hater but after watching so many of his matches in sequence I saw just how repetitive he was as a wrestler. He's a legend but overrated as a performer in his early days without even getting started on what he did in the ring during the second half of his career.

Not sure about Legacy, though I imagine they'd be drafted as one wouldn't they?

RE Christian, I haven't seen him mentioned for any matches, so not sure
Hmm, not sure if there has been a switch, but the advertised match of Triple H v orton in a steel cage on Smackdown got no mention this week, and I am sure I saw Orton now being advertised for the Raw tour over here - all I am saying basically is don't be surprised if my spoilers are actually wrong - I will post back more tomorrow as I will be watching Vintage Collection which is bound to be filled with ads

Got this on another forum, so at the moment this is just a rumor:

Kane met with WWE Officials in Stanford this past week and he has officially declared that he will be retiring in June. He does not plan to renew his contract with WWE when it expires in late June. When asked about his post-wrestling plans, he has been telling many stars backstage that he is considering a run for political office.

That'll be a real shame. Kane's presence in WWE holds a lot of great memories for fans, he's been a fantastic servant to the company, and I hope he gets a great send-off like he deserves. It's just a shame we probably won't be able to see him square off with The Undertaker one last time before he leaves the business.

I've never been a fan personally, aside from his monster heel run in 97-98. From about the summer of 98 onwards he has never really interested me.
