BARNES OUT
This story comes up every off-season.
Naa wouldn't subject himself to playing for the Redbacks.Watson to finish his career playing for every single state tbh.
c'd.Naa wouldn't subject himself to playing for the Bushrangers.
The squad's ego quotient would go from 'extreme' to 'Steve Waugh' if he moved South.Naa wouldn't subject himself to playing for the Redbacks.
Nah, I hear SA have a quota on muscle-bound blokes with massive egos. The squad's ego quotient would go from 'extreme' to 'Steve Waugh' if he moved South.
Good news for NZ cricket IMO....AdelaideNow... Cosgrove wants to stay a Redback
Any comments? Would love to hear what you guys think of this..
Sure he put up some great end of season form with a first-class high score of 133 against Qld but how do you rate his consistency with the bat?
At this stage I believe that no decision has been made about his contract.
nothing gets past you guys!Good news for NZ cricket IMO....
Cosgrove isn't muscle-bound. Duh.Nah, I hear SA have a quota on muscle-bound blokes with massive egos.
No more than 1 iirc.
Tough break for Watto....
No, I mean they've officially approached Queensland cricket to speak to him. Everyone completely denied that last year. Anyway, what he's quoted to have said seems pretty much like he'd made up his mind. Presumably it's a no-brainer really. He can move and still do his job, if his girlfriend moved to Brisbane she'd have to give hers up.NSW offically approach him every season about the move tbh. This is just the first time he said he will consider it.
They don't have to approach Queensland, as he is an Australian contracted player. Even if he lost his contract, technically Queensland contract expired at the end of the season. Pretty sure they never even spoke to Queensland, or if they did they didn't have to. They may have to do the right thing. But there is no reason they have to talk to Queensland about it.No, I mean they've officially approached Queensland cricket to speak to him. Everyone completely denied that last year. Well last year, they were frantically denying approaching him, saying they didn't want to be fined for going behind Queensland's back. So presumably there's some rules in place. They don't have to approach Queensland, as he is an Australian contracted player.
