Can anyone tell me what type of batsman Cameron Borgas is?. It's just because he's been announced as the Scottish Saltires overseas professional for the 2009 season.

Just remembered that folks here were saying about what an awful starter he is, 6 50s in 46 innings doesn't fill me with too much confidence.

Will have to adjust mighty quickly though, pitches up here are renouned for their slowness .

Got a mate at the SCG today, apparently Bracken has already had a stone dead LBW not given and had a simple dropped catch off his bowling. Awesome. :(

Also, AARON HEAL playing a First Class match! Very glad I'm going to the ground each of the four days.

Slooooooooow starter but once he gets past 30, tends to score big. Just gets hyoed-up and nervous before getting to the crease so has a tendency towards rash shots before set. When the mood takes him, can spank the ball miles. Has happened a couple of times where he's gotten SA home in last-over run-chases by hitting a few 6's. Schizophrenic player, really.

Speaking of South Australia, Tas 3/16 on a cloudless day at Adelaide Oval....... !.

Hey! I wrote this release!

Hi everyone, allow me to introduce myself.... I'm Kirsty, (Top_Cat's gf) I work at the SACA as the Communications Coordinator. Am new to this job and relatively new to cricket. I am slowly gaining greater knowledge of cricket as a result of working here with the Redbacks (and lengthy emails and talks from Corey) and am actually starting to enjoy the game.:-O
I'm sitting in my office at the moment and so can't see the action but I am following the scores on Cricket.com.au....

Good on ya Top_Cat and Kylez for puttin the Redback updates on here!
SA are doing brilliantly with Cleary already taking 3 wickets to see the Tigers in trouble on 4/31 after 15 overs. George has the other wicket.

PKF Tasmanian Tigers 1st Innings
Total 4 wickets , 15.1 overs 34

R M B
Wells, JW lbw:Cleary 8 23 17
Dawson, DG lbw:George 8 38 33
Marsh, DJ b:Cleary 0 8 4
Bailey, GJ not out 12 31 21
Birt, TR b:Cleary 3 13 13
Paine, TD not out 1 8 3

If I can get out to the match day office today to view the game from possibly the best office in Adelaide; expect to recieve better updates, including crowd and player reactions. :D

Nice to meet you all, Go the Redbacks!

Should also mention that Warner is making his FC Debut, batting at 6 and that Casson has been retained despite the last game's incident.

How's Corey in the sack? As good as he says?
No-one is as good as I say I am.

Cleary ripping Tas a new one with the ball, two wickets in teh last over before lunch. Just came back out now, Tas 6/81, Cleary with Michelle/23.

EDIT: 7/85. There's plenty of cloud around but geez, surely there's not that much movement around. SA with a lead by day's close?

Didn't Paine make that big double a few seasons back opening?
Thought he might've in the past. Point I was thinking about whether it would be better for the Tasmanian team if they went back to Paine opening, and pick another specialist keeper. Whether that means getting Clingeleffer back, or getting a Crosthwaite/Wade from Victoria.

Shouldnt have gone back to Dawson, the guy is a specialist 2nd XI/grade player. Scores centuries for fun on a weekly basis at any level below first class but gets shown up every time he gets back in the team.

Bracken bowling to Heal. Nnanden in heaven.

Shocking scores by the Tassies and WACA's. Good to see Bailey again in the runs.
