But they wanted Mortaza, I think more for popularity purposes in Bangladesh.KKR is all style and zero substance imo, these guys had $ 2m to play with, they could have either gone for Flintoff or KP with that sort of money if one player is all what they wanted out of this auction.
The last IPL definitely showed the value of decent all-rounders. Fred ought to buy Watto a diet Pepsi or two.Fred is super value as he is both a reliable T20 bat as well as one of the best T20 bowlers as well.
Was going to post something about the idiocy about the eighth-best team in the world having the two most valued players...I think this proves that we have the best players in the world and our world-ranking should be adjusted accordingly IIRC
Will be good when Watson thoroughly out-performs him.The last IPL definitely showed the value of decent all-rounders. Fred ought to buy Watto a diet Pepsi or two.
Finally, a chance for me to cheer for Watson over Fred. Was so conflicted when they played each other before. Will be good when Watson thoroughly out-performs him.
In which case, KP ought to be good at it.Is Pieterson really worth 10x more than say a Ross Taylor? This seems to be a pissing competion more than anything.
Most sides used atleast 8 internationals last season due to players being injuried or playing Internationals. You need the depth until they find a window.I don't get why the clubs buy up so many players when they can only play four at a time. Seems like a massive waste when half the players are just going to be sitting on the sidelines.
Many of the players are only there for half the season. Ironically, If an IPL window is created in the FTP, it would probably mean less international players getting a chance to get IPL money, as everyone would be there the full time barring injuries or benching due to form and there'd be less need for replacement. However, if such a window were created, I would not be surprised to see the maximum number of foreign players allowed from four to six or seven.I don't get why the clubs buy up so many players when they can only play four at a time. Seemed like there was a bit of the ol 'giving everyone a go' though. Most sides used atleast 8 internationals last season due to players being injuried or playing Internationals. You need the depth until they find a window.
