Somerset

Cricketer Of The Year
India- 3.50
England- 21.00
Draw- 1.36

The pick for me here is India at 3.50. Considering England have to bat last and have no choice but to go for the win, coupled with the fact that this pitch has a good bit in it for the bowlers, i think that's a great price.
India out to $3.75 now, with the draw down to $1.33 and England still at $21.00. Will put $100 on an Indian win.

Also will put my last $40 on How (at $1.83) to be the next batsman dismissed in the NZ vs WI test. (Its lunch at the moment and New Zealand are yet to lose a wicket).

Odds attached btw.

Can't take in-play bets i'm afraid, it makes things really awkward to control. Well done in finding a nailed-on opportunity to buy money though :)

Jungle Jumbo

GeraintIsMyHero £100 on Australia to win the first test @ 2.00

pasag- -$50 + $50 on SA to win the 1st test @ 3.60

Big win for Steulen on Gambhir to top score gives him a handy early profit, but the big money will be won and lost tomorrow with the conclusion of the WACA test. If anyone wants to make any more bets, the current odds are as follows:

Australia- 1.61
South Africa- 2.37
Draw- 26.00

New Zealand- 2.15
West Indies- 5.00
Draw- 2.40

India- 3.00
England- 34.00
Draw- 1.41

Tough ones to call, but personally i still like the look of India at 3.00. Despite Gambhir and Dravid's performances, this is not the easiest track to bat on and England have no choice but to go for it. There's plenty of quality in this Indian attack too and i think they'll go in for the kill.

Steulen doubles his early winnings with another big win, while Voltman can leap ahead of everyone if West Indies pull one out of the bag in New Zealand with his $50 double at 10.625.

It's even bigger than you think, as 50 * 3.25 = 162.50 for the SA win.
I calculate profit so i took your stake away from that. EDIT: Just realised i forgot to do that with the Gambhir bet- well, you're still miles ahead. I list all the winning bets, so if anyone notices mistakes (which i'm worryingly prone to making for an engineering student) do let me know :).

I lol'd when I saw Ian Bell's score of 1 after my man Laxman having faced 24 balls scored 0!

Both bets that I have lost my player has made 0 and in the bet I won Sarwan won having only scored 11. Unbelievable...

I'll get you your updated balance etc. now- remember, everyone can go as low as -200 but no lower. The odds for the 2nd test are as follows:

Australia 2.30
South Africa 2.75
Draw 3.50

Gotta agree with GIMH here- the value's in the draw on a dead pitch with two teams whose batsmen massively outclass their bowlers.
