BARNES OUT

I mean, Ganga scoring an unbeaten hundy? Weak!
Haha yeah! He only averages 42 outside of Test cricket...Dire to have Ganga scoring a century.
This was an "A" test, wasn't it? A better bowling line up and less emphasis on batting down to #11 would have given us much more chance of winning this game, in my opinion. Letting Ganga score a hundred in such an important game is criminal.Haha yeah! He only averages 42 outside of Test cricket...
Precisely irrelevant here. You contradict yourself.I know Ganga's good outside of Test cricket. That overwhelms anything else he does though.
So basically you're saying that you're a better bowler than Tarick? This was an "A" test, wasn't it? No idea. But I don't think 2 spinners was the best idea in the Windies, as already stated. Didn't have to be me (though that'd be my preference, obviously) but there needed to be a wicket taking opening bowler. West is a good bowler and Donald and Cunningham are great first changes, there's a lack of penetration up front with the new ball.So basically you're saying that you're a better bowler than Tarick?
I don't disagree with this, but it just seems to me that the team balance was wrong for this game and that was a more attacking bowling line up we should have been able to win this despite the time lost to weather.Weber is basically an 'A' incumbent, and he showed why last game. His record is also very good and seeing as the selectors have gone with Corrin as captain for this tour I would say it is you and Donald fighting for one spot(at this present moment) - with Donald's batting being the mitigating factor. I also think you should have played, but it is probaly worth mentioning the eight catches we dropped in that last "Test".
You do realise spinners have dominated pretty much all the matches this tour prior to the last match. Also Cunningham opened the bowling in most of matches this tour and has opened for club and CWA for most of career. Rarely ever plays as a first change bowler. No idea. The CW side selected looks like a side wanting a draw rather than one that needed to win. The batting is immense - Weber completely wasted having to bat at #10 (as his first innings heroics showed). If you want (in theory) to draw a game, then pick this side.
We only got anywhere near close due to a sporting declaration from the opposition Captain.
