***Official*** New Zealand Domestic Season 2008/09

No idea about Ingram, havn't seen him play much. If he is to be selected he has to have a solid defense (he's obviously got scoring shots) and be able to play off the back foot, otherwise he wont cut it at test level. His FC record is also incredibly poor, 50 matches for an average of 28.54.

Yeah, nice to see Jimmy scoring a few runs. 117* at lunch, his 4th FC hundred. Hopefully he can push on and get a big one, then take some wickets.

Watched some of Bell's innings yesterday..he looked very solid against an Auckland attack lacking pace and on a featherbed pitch. Though he did get dropped on 80 odd at first slip by Reece Young.

The two that stand out for mine so far are Bell and Cumming, which isnt overly surprising.

gday Polo, did it end up being free to watch at Eden Park? Might make my way there after exams if so
Yep, completely free.

Sat in the members, really good view and only a handful of people so you can pretty much sit anywhere. No where to buy food or drink though, so you should probably bring your own.

The Stags to declare tonight and bowl a few overs before the end of the day? Shame that the Eden park match missed so much play, would've liked to see Wellington trounce the Aces.

Ingram's interesting. Over the last 2 and a bit seasons, he's averaged about 56 with the bat. Prior to that, most of his season averages were in the teens or low 20's. Perhaps worth a punt, but I can't really say for sure without having a look at him bat, first.

Yeah, even without seeing him bat I'd say he's probably worth a punt. We haven't got much to lose in terms of openers at the moment.

Should Redmond get another go? I guess will have to wait till the end of the next match. I want to see him bowl some leggies. I have no prbs with How who I think is quite talented and deserves his spot.

I'll be happy if Redmond gets a big score in Adelaide and keeps his place, but I'm not expecting that to happen.

So are Ingram and Broom for that matter.

Looks like we are producing some pretty decent early season batting decks which is a good sign...though, i'd prefer we were producing QUICK decks, instead of slow flat pieces.

Franklin gets his double ton and Ingram gets the highest ever score for a CD player.

Two double tons in one day...you don't see that very often in NZ.
