Great now we have to sit through dead rubber matches:dry:
Should be a real treat. Great idea these 7 game series when England are involved away from home,

Anyway, well done India. It does help having two opening bowlers who know what they're doing 9 times out of 10.

Thanks to BCCI! 5 ODIs and 3 test would have been much better! BCCI dont make much by playing tests in India and thats why they go for ODIs. Empty stadiums a worry in tests these days!

Good win for India. Held their nerves even when Flintoff and Shah ran amok.

England has got plenty of worries regarding momentum at the top. Bell could be "rested" for the coming games I guess.

Why the long faces? India resting players (as they're likely to do) and the fact that even players of the low standard of England's have to perform sometime if you give them seven chances means we might just get a contest, maybe even two, in these dead matches.

Not sure about Munaf Patel TBH but Zaheer Khan was superlative this game, nothing short of.

Would rather have two of those matches replaced with a third test so the forth coming series can be more competitive
