The Styles Clash - AJ Styles

A very simple move here and in essence is just this.

1st Part - Powerbomb Clutch 02 (100 %)
2nd Part - Belly - to - Back Inverted Mat Slam 01 (100 %)
3rd Part - Crashlanding Impact (100 %)

Of course you can elaborate. For the first part I've put in a kick to the mid section, followed by the powerbomb clutch, followed by a destroy taunt and then the belly to back inverted mat slam and then the crash landing impact.

The Canadian Destroyer - Petey Williams

A simple move too, but slightly more difficult to create than The Styles Clash.

Gut Kick Speed: 100%
Powerbomb Clutch 01 Speed: 100%
Destroy Taunt Speed: 100%
Texan Destroyer Clutch Speed: 100%
Texan Destroyer Impact Speed: 125%

Both of these look really cool when performed in the game.

Batista was on The Paul O'Grady Show today, amusement galore. They had a little 12-year-old kid asking him questions. The kid asked him about his training regime, and he made the mistake of saying, "I only go to the gym three times a week". If that's to be believed, then how could anyone possibly not think he's on steroids with a physique like that? I don't care what he says, no-one is born as ripped as he is.

He also said, in response to the question, "can you give me some tips on my smack talk?", that "I'm not really very good at the smack talk side of things", which was refreshing honesty. At least he knows he's poor on the mic.

Overall, funniest bits were a) seeing him meet Jack Dee, and b) seeing Paul O'Grady's reaction to him. O'Grady is over the top at the best of times, so to see him fawning over Batista's physique was just cringeworthy. Amusing, though.

To be fair to the man he's always acknowledged the fact he's **** at talking, when they used to air the PPV press conferences on the wwe site he used to say it every time he came out haha

I miss those conferences, they were usually hilarious

Don't remember when they used to do that TBH, must have been while I was out of watching wrestling for a while.

Fair enough to him then for acknowledging it. He seemed to have zero charisma in front of a TV camera anyway, going by his answers to the kid's questions. He was basically saying one line, and then just waiting for the next question.

I don't like the guy, but he does what he does, and he sells PPVs. That, at the end of the day, is what everyone in the wrestling business is looking to do. He might be a **** in his personal life (witness his comments in his book about his wife's cancer), but the guy's earned a lot of money. Doesn't mean I enjoy watching him, but there are plenty of better wrestlers who can't draw for ****. Fair play to him.

Batista isn't a huge draw by any means though. Good draw but Cena, HHH, Taker, HBK and more recently Edge are all over him.Overrated in almost every way possible, was so glad we didn't have to endure another mind numbing title reign ffrom him.

Oh and I think MVP has hit rock bottom based on the next two Smackdowns. They better have something major planned for him or they might as well cut him and send him over to TNA.

He's not a huge draw any more, hence his demotion to the upper midcard. He was, though, for about two years - so much so that they considered having him end 'Taker's 'Mania streak, apparently.

I'd liken Batista to The Ultimate Warrior - similar gimmick, similar appeal, similar in-ring style, similar short career. Made a lot of money, but ultimately disliked backstage and never considered a great talent.

My thinking was that his hot streak was more a result of the brilliant booking and some stellar work in building him up and putting him over by Flair and Hunter. He rode the wave well but once people saw him for the meh performer he is he's dropped down the card. So yeah I'm crediting his streak to Vince and HHH :p

Jeff Hardy's TitanTron promo on SmackDown last night was the best piece of promo work he has ever done, by some distance. I am hugely excited by this tweaking of his character, if he continues in this vein of form then Creative will struggle to keep the title off him until 'Mania. The Joker-like face paint, the sitting in the corner of the ring waiting for his opponent...it all fits, it fits beautifully. The E may well have struck gold here.

Christian will come back and overshadow him :p

Yeah, liked it very much, character might finally have some depth to it. He pulled it off really really well.

Haha. Christian can overshadow whoever he likes, the man's a hero. Can't wait for the moment he and Edge come face to face again (or face to heel...sorry, awful joke), will mark out like mad.

Speaking of which, I'm intrigued that we've almost got several matches set in stone for WMXXV already - should be some interesting and long build-ups going on.

World Heavyweight Championship Match - "The Rematch of the Century"
Batista (c) vs John Cena

WWE Championship Match
Triple H (c) vs Jeff Hardy

Grudge Match
Edge vs Christian

Plus:

Some sort of 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin appearance, or maybe even a match
A Santino Marella promo/match/appearance
Some sort of Legends Showcase, perhaps a Legends Battle Royal
Possible Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels match
Matches involving Big Show, Randy Orton, Chris Jericho, CM Punk, Matt Hardy, Rey Mysterio, Kane, JBL and others who are guaranteed to appear
Money In the Bank Match, probably involving the likes of Morrison, Benjamin, Kendrick, Kennedy, MVP et al
Some sort of celebrity match

Wouldn't be surprised if this was a five-hour spectacular like WMXX was, TBH. They've got so much to fit in. Am stoked already.

I'd be frothing over a match with Austin and i hope Kane has a good match too

More likely that Austin'll come back than that Kane'll get a good spot on the card, TBH. Having him job to Mysterio was slightly pointless. Rey should be helping guys like Bourne and Morrison get over with their high flying style by this point in his career, not having filler feuds with big guys and burying them by winning. Likewise, Kane should be feuding with young guys to help get them over, like he did with MVP. Half the reason MVP is still over now after six months of jobbing is because of the original groundwork Kane and Benoit did on him.

I must say, it was fantastic. Jeff really held his own in that opening promo, and the darkness and face paint really gave it a nice touch. He's shown more personality in this segment then he has in his entire run back in the WWE so far.

I think Jeff Hardy can be one of those people who can portray the shades of grey character quite well. He'll still be cheered no matter what he does, but he can get away with some heelish behaviour on the shows. WWE's booking of Hardy has been pretty good so far.

Echo all of the above comments on Jeff Hardy tbh...the fact that he went over Taker this week (even though it wasn't clean) was a huge step in improving his credibility, wasn't a bad match at all either....am so hoping this promising development isn't wasted.
