Another serious issue is MJ's economy rate..I see people going on and on about how hes been Australia's best bowler.I would like to disagree. The guy is extremely lucky to get half the wckts he gets(right from the first match).I don't really rate him.Just a pacy pie thrower.
Gah!! tell me about it i just find it unbelievable how often he gets the wickets really ticks me off. His accuaracy is a shocker and his line/lenght is just boring outside stump. imo he has being playing pretty badly considering amount of boundaries being conceded he takes the pressure right off like he did straight after tea.

What an ugly mug :P

Always happy to be wrong. :) Can never bring myself to be optimistic until the game is over though.
The funny thing is your pretty much always wrong. It is a shame I'm not in Hong Kong because you could make me a lot of money with your predications. :)

But you don't mind declaring a game is over in only thirty minutes though...

"India are cooked, Dravid is gone, and my prediction coming true. This is going to be a disaster. Aussies come in with stuff to prove and India thinking the pitch will carry them through while believing the hype.

So dissapointing.

That's the way it goes with me. I wouldn't have it any other way.

But really, when the ball moves around like crazy in the morning, and India lose 6 wickets for 12 runs, then come and tell me. Clark was outstanding today, to give up so few runs on such a wicket sets him up nicely for tomorrow and in the second innings. You'd think India had already scored 500 and bowled the Aussies out for 150. There is a long long way to go, and Aussies are very much in it. Clark is the danger man tomorrow and in the second innings. Let's see how it goes. Gambhir might get too emotional tomorrow and throw his wicket away trying to prove something.

I remember when I joined this forum we had guys like ‘Nehrafan’ and other crack pot Indian fans around, your pessimism would have been useful back then… Seems like all the Indian fanboys on here have gone underground (the only one supports Australia it would seem), surprising considering they are a far better team now.

I guess all the years of let downs have their effects. but this match is far from over Aus only need a couple of wickets tommr morn and they are right back in it. They bowled well with the new ball and im sure Lee and Clark can get some movement and wickets come tommr.

I'm not writing Australia off but you would have to be on cloud ****oo land to think they had a good day here...Also not a great sign when Katich is getting decent amount of turn.

No, it could be just that they've become wiser and started to use vaguer pseudo-IDs.

Agree. The only thing that prevented India from posting a 325+ total today was Stuey Clark. And to say he was treated like a leg spinner by Tendulkar says............

wow ponting is a bit off an ass if this is all in context...

http://blogs.cricinfo.com/longstop/archives/2008/10/ponting_owes_bedi_an_apology.php

You wouldn't think Bedi would just walk into a practise session would you?
Hmm, where's the Ponting quote come from? I'd be interested to see what he was asked. The article seems to be reading a lot into a fairly simple comment that could have honestly meant he didn't know why Bedi was there. Could also have been intended to be somewhat rude, hard to say.

Not funny at all. Could have excused him had he been a newbie. But so many years at the top as captain, and yet being so blunt, no wonder he's seen as rude.
