*Official* English Football Season 2008-2009

Barnes anger towards Redknapp is understandable. But looking at it from an English & Premiership POV (instead of a club POV), Redknapp is the best English manager around, so its good that he is getting a chance to work with the best club outside the Big 4.

Good stuff from Liverpool also, honestly wouldn't mind seeing them come the end of the reason, challenging for the title.
Not sure where you're getting this idea from.

Ah yes, but Tottenham's squad, once they play to potential should for me be on par or better than Villa.

I'd rather lose my manager than watch my club go bankrupt.
Would bet money on my having to go through both in the next few years. Portsmouth will not be a Premiership team come May 2011, whether or not we find a new buyer. If we don't find a new buyer, we're ****ed.

And GIMH, thank you, you've given me a degree of perspective on things. I'm still a bitter bastard, but give it some time and I think I'll be thinking of Redknapp a bit more kindly.

Doubt it, there are more games that have "X" about them than "former non league side doing quite well visit ground where near neighbours lost hilariously recently".

I would fancy for TV ahead of us, without looking too hard:
AFC Wimbledon v Wycombe
Havant & Waterlooville v Brentford
Blyth Spartans v Shrewsbury
Chesterfield v Mansfield
Leeds v Northampton
The FA Website said:

Yes, well done Neil.

Have to wait for the second round before an appearance on t'telly........

Actually are ITV doing a Match-of-the-day style magazine prog? A modern-day Big Match would surely feature us in some way:unsure:
