***Official*** New Zealand in Bangladesh

Jeez, Chill bro, Black Caps are anything but out of this game, of course they are in a bit of a tight spot, but there is no reason they can't still win this test, all they need to do is bowl Bangers out cheaply the 2nd time around and bat a lot better then they did in the 1st innings, of course all this is easier said then done, but if you are an optimistic Black Caps fan you can always pin your hopes on Bangers throwing it away.

Still have to say from the looks of it Black Caps have really been poor so far and Bangladesh have kind of outplayed them in every department, btw we aren't getting this game here on telly, so just wanted to ask is the pitch a dust-bowl??
Regardless if we do pull of a win in this test, i'm still going to be just as pissed off.

The pitch is fine. Taking a bit of turn but nothing to really scare the batsmen. The NZ batsmen have just been dire...they have no idea against spin.

To be fair Taylor and Mills did get horrible decisions, I can't believe Daryl Harper and Asoka De Silva are international umpires, they are both terrible.

**** me...it's times like these when you wish you werent a kiwi.

I cannot believe how ****ing **** our useless piece of **** batsmen have been. We batted just like Bangladesh. Bangladesh gave us a great example of what not to do on that pitch, and then we did the identical thing, but just to really **** off all New Zealand supporters, we did it about 10 times worse.

We are going to lose a test match to Bangladesh...BANGLA ****ING DESH!!!

McCullum is really starting to **** me off also...for all his promise he rarely delivers. And today was a perfect opportunity to bat us out of trouble, and he plays one of the most ****ing terrible shots I have ever seen. He should be shot for that bull****.

Flynn, Redmond and Ryder can **** off to. I'd rather see Skippy, Cumming and Fulton back in the side after this bull**** performance. Cumming should have never been dropped in the first place.

**** them...**** them all. They don't deserve to be international sportsmen. Greedy pricks.
Come on tell us how you really feel  . In all seriousness it is dire and someone has to take responsibility if we lose this, I am looking at you Vaughn, Bracewell, Nash and Turner.

Sick of the argument that run-rate is oh so crucial in Tests. Doesn't hold any water afaic. Bangladesh battled through the new ball trickiness and then made runs when things got easier.
Word.

Have only seen extended highlights, but Shakib was just awesome. 25 or something over spell and made them think the whole time. Couldn't believe McCullum's shot though. Terrible.

C'mon Deshis!

Unbelievable! WTF happened? The scoreboard looks real crazy!! Hope NZL put up a better performance in the second innings, or many on this board will be left to look "Cameron White".

Looks like Bangladesh just need to keep their nerve now, though I'm sure that's by no means a given - I just cant see NZ getting 300 in the fourth innings unless something ridiculous occurs

What's really pleasing is they've got themselves into this position without a significant contribution from Ashraful with the bat or Mortaza with the ball - a new dawn perhaps?

Ashraful is one of the greatest over-rated players in history of cricket. B'desh will be miles better without him.

Would under-achieving be a better way of putting it? A test average of 24 is undoubtedly poor but we don't see much of him in England - in fact all I really recall is that ton he got against Australia in 2005 and that, most definitely, was magnificent

I believe if he's got enough talent to invent his own shot he really should be good enough to average twice his current Test batting average, if not at least well over 35.

SH*** did I feed a troll:dry:

Played an almighty role in beating NZ in the first ODI and being a competitive leader in the next two and is now leading his team in a Test. GET HIM OUT OF THEREEEEE

I rate Tamim as the best bat in their side, but Ashraful cant be far behind and he's certainly worth his place in the side, especially after the ICL exodus

1 ODI 100 to remember in 6yrs of International cricket? He's got talent, but no brains, no temperament. Maybe he'll do well in 20-20. But test cricket?

Some posters put intentionally insulting posts specifically to draw an angry response.
I really don't think one acheive anything but a pound or two around one's tummy by arguing in an internet forum. Though I cannot change prejudices of some people here, it's just the love for the game that keeps us all going, I believe. I am entitled to opinion, and I can back it up with stats. We all look forward to healthy discussions right?
