***Official*** New Zealand in Bangladesh

And Oram goes to another terrible shot. Reckon New Zealand would go for Rajin's innings right about now. Hell, they might even start thinking of bringing Sinclair back - at least he converts his starts. :p

Bangladesh should be favourites from here IMO.

To anybody who is actually watching on tv, is it turning big yet like they said it would? Or is this just a horrible batting display?

Bloody disgraceful batting. Caused by a little turn.

Want to see each and every NZ batsman flogged at the end of this test, regardless of result. Want Bracewell to 'disappear' as well, ****.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
Awful. Confident of a second innings showing if we aren't saved by the Captain here, though.

Appalling stuff, I didn't see the second session but McCullum spooning a half volley to mid on, Flynn nicking out to a part time off spinner who doesn't even spin the ball, and Oram chipping to short mid wicket... 8-)

Its also nice to see Bangladesh can take their chances when our batsman decide to give their wickets away, good effort in the field by the home side.

Yeah, Flynn's dismissal was the most surprising for mine. Naeem only has 17 wickets in 43 First Class games.. that's in Bangladeshi domestic cricket. I was actually really surprised he was given a bowl at the time given the state of the match -he only bowled the one over and got Flynn out. Inspired bit of captaincy I guess.

Awful shots from McCullum and Oram though, particularly given the circumstances.

I'm actually not so sure it was inspired captaincy (even though the commentators commended Ashraful for it) - Razzak was pretty ineffective for the first few overs in the afternoon session, Mehrab Hossain was smashed for two boundaries in his only over, and I don't think he was that keen to bring the two pacemen back - so I almost get the feeling that bringing on Naeem Islam, or bringing Razzak back on, were his his only real options at the time.

Shakib gets his sixth.
Must be getting close to best ever figures by a Bangladeshi in test cricket?

Edit: Answered my own question, hes currently third on the list, another wicket would guarantee top spot...wouldn't be betting against it TBH.

That's it. I've had enough. I'm officially not caring about the Black Caps anymore. I've supported this useless ****ing rabble through some tough times (mid-1990s springs to mind) but this performance ranks a 10 on the heartless scale. As cricketers, you're alright - but as gutsy sportsmen, you're up to **** all. There is absolutely no pride in their performance - they could all die in a plane crash for all I care.

To be fair the commentators are all ****.
That Aussie one must be high.

"Want to see the tail go for it."
"Gully has to watch out, its going right to him this ball."
etc etc

Dumb ****. Didn't hear him ***** when the Bangers were going at around 1 an over.
