The Wheel is Forever
If Sachin got the record in Adelaide, I'm sure the same would be true.Haha, and to think, when Lara got the record in Adelaide, all he got was a polite round of applause.

Oh yeah but that's got more to do with Adelaide's stuffiness than the fact it was an oppo player. I was there and the applause almost got above a murmur, as it rarely does in champagne Adelaide. All that was missing was "Jolly good, well played suh!"If Sachin got the record in Adelaide, I'm sure the same would be true.
Well, in some grounds in India, there would be deafening silence for an opposition player, so it's not as bad as it could be.Oh yeah but that's got more to do with Adelaide's stuffiness than the fact it was an oppo player. Sachin never got a ton in Adelaide....I dunno. Last time Sachin got a 100 there, the crowd applause lasted nearly 2 minutes. But Tendulkar captures fans which is unmatched in history, and probably ever.
Not sure about that, people used to flock to domestic games just to see Bradman, his batting often stopping the nation.I dunno. Last time Sachin got a 100 there, the crowd applause lasted nearly 2 minutes. But Tendulkar captures fans which is unmatched in history, and probably ever.
Such a landmark always get appreciated in India. Not as mad like this, but certainly.Well, in some grounds in India, there would be deafening silence for an opposition player, so it's not as bad as it could be.
Dont think no one else will ever keep that all togetherMost runs in Test and ODI cricket, most hundreds in both formats. Wow, I love him so much. Cricket god, so good to see him bring up the record against the best team in the world too.
A billion is spellbounded by Tendulkar. I dont think Bradman had that following. Not sure about that, people used to flock to domestic games just to see Bradman, his batting often stopping the nation.
I think Ponting will get the two Test records, not the ODI though.Dont think no one else will ever keep that all together
not any time soon for sure
In ODIs case, probably never.Dont think no one else will ever keep that all together
not any time soon for sure
both have done that in their countries...may be tendulkar doing it to more number of people ..because of our huge populationNot sure about that, people used to flock to domestic games just to see Bradman, his batting often stopping the nation.
Easily had the same wrap on the nation though. Arguably something similar in England as well. Obviously raw numbers like a billion compared to whatever we had back then doesn't compare.A billion is spellbounded by Tendulkar. I dont think Bradman had that following.
