Believe me and a number of other people made that joke a few years back after watching Dogma.

The thing is, Sky should really look at things now, Conference games get shown more than League 1 & 2, that isn't right and it's a good thing that it's happening. Gives us associate members something to piss and moan about

Well, as someone out of the BSP (it's Blue it's square and we're not ****ing there) I can say I miss Rebecca Lowe, but that's about it, tbh. Paul Parker and Kinghorn can be knobs of the knobbliest kind, get your fixture ****ed up at very little notice, and the money they pay you, means you end up losing money from attendances on televised home games, especially if they stick a saturday game on a thursday night or somesuch. Still feel it amazing some managers (Tiz never did) do their team-talks live on telly, talk about giving tactics away. Those managers clearly want to be on Reality TV, IMHO.

Was okay for novelty value, and I think it's great for the BSP, profile-wise. Yet being in the League is just so more prestigious, no need for gimmickry.

People are missing the point with Beckham coming on.

England had the game won - what exactly is anyone going to learn by bringing him on? Nothing.

IMO, if ever there's a time when a player should be capable of playing 90 minutes it's when he's 18-19

I don't care about the science of it . A footballer shouldn't need a rest when they are 19. Will probably get hammered for this, meh, don't give a ****.

TBF, Walcott was crap for most of the match. No end product. Beckham, hate him or love him, freshened up the team and they looked better for it TBH.

Have to say Danny Baker's 6-0-6 tonight has been top-class entertainment, in a huge mass of bland, utterly repetitive phone-in twaddle, wher talksport and Five-live are indivisible, it's an enjoyable oasis of subversion.

Trying to arrange a boo-a-thon for the Weekend, Bohemian Rhapsody done in football-players names, and general quality with callers, not the ****ing muppets the other shows attract/sustain.

Was a fan of the old shows of his, but thought at first these shows would be a case of "you should never go back", but they're really hitting their stride now, IMHO.

Just watching highlights of the 1990 FA cup semi final replay...and Mark Robbins was blatantly offside when he scored the winner, grrr

I don't think it's a matter of him being capable of playing 90 minutes. Like you say, any footballer of that age is always going to be able to make it through the match. However, Walcott is playing football more often now than at any other point in his career - two matches a week with Arsenal, coupled with international appearances - and if he carries on going at full tilt for an entire season, he's in danger of burning out performance-wise, no matter how high his fitness level is.

Hmm what exactly does Gerrard have to do to get dropped?

He repeatedly plays like a donkey
He displays all the technical ability of a donkey
He purposely times his operation so he misses England games instead of Liverpool ones
He whines about only being played in his favourite position a handful of times in his England career, then waffles on saying that it's because he's far more versatile than a bunch of players who're light years ahead of said donkey
And finally he's a Scouse halfwit

Gerrard & Lampard play8-)

Not Fab:@
Although i expect before the WC qualifiers end, Capello will realise that the duo can't work together. I am willing to tolerate Capello trying to work it out for himself because as a foreign coach, things & players in the English game may be new to him so along with Stevie G/Lamps being paired up, Defore being selected based on club form, Downing, Jenas, Upson & the dropping of Owen. Capello is obviously stating he doesn't care about the past everything starts fresh under him. Which I have no isse with ATM.

For tonight although if its 4-3-3, he probably should sacrifice Stevie G in a deeper role with Barry & give Lamps the free role:

Rooney--------------------------------------------Heskey-----------------------------------------------------Walcott

-----------------------------------------------------Lampard-----------------------------------------------------------------

---------------------------------------Barry---------------------------Gerrard----------------------------------------------
