I was just teasing. I switched from NTL to Sky just as it was becoming Virgin Media. Tje loss of Sky Sports News & Lost was too much to handle.

Yeah, miss SkySportsnews, a lot. The Sultana one is ****e. Bones is about the only thing I miss from SkyOne, can easily live without their production line of crap.

Yeah, funnily enough you get Setanta Sports News on Sky.

Most of Sky One is bollocks, enjoy Lost, The Simpsons, Cold Case and the missus watches Bones. It's ****e the rest of the time.

Class goal that.

Great interchange by Gerrard and Rooney, Scaly will be pleased.

More good work from Bridge again and Rooney looking world-class the last few games, for the first time in donkeys...

Sounds like Gerrard has had a decent time?
Hmm, yeah I guess so, still would prefer just one of him or Lamps to play, but you can't really argue with this. Would still bring in Hargreaves and Cole if I was picking the team. Yet instead of some numpty who mainly watches lower-league cloggers, they've, bizarrely, put a world-class manager with a proven record at a high level in charge, so I guess we'll have to make do with his decisions:unsure:

Edit: should of said "hargreaves and Joe Cole when fit"

Shocking, innit

4 from 4. Not too shabby.

Huh. Well, that's what £6 million PA buys in a manager I suppose. Brooding Italians who vaguely resemble cosa nosta consigliere clearly inspire more confidence than eager-to-please balding Yorkshiremen with tippexed teeth.

First time we've ever won our first four games in world cup qualifying, if my paper is to be believed.

I was wondering. Impressive stuff it must be said, even if I have only seen one game so far. As I have said before and will no doubt say again, you win football matches by scoring more goals than the other team. If we continue to do this, keep picking Gerrard & Lampard, keep playing ugly football en route to a 5-1 win, nobody will give a ****.

Quite. Look gash, win every game 1-0 & you're world champions eventually.

Anyway, feel happier to be an England football fan, ATM. The team seem to be playing like they care. Rooney's back to where he was in 04, was it? Let's just hope he gets a nice long injury until they play the next match. Don't want him playing for United like that.

Upson and Bridge did really well. Wasn't sure about Upson (he plays for West Ham, FFS), but hardly noticed him tonight, which is always good for a centre-half. Well ahead of the crock-duo of Spurs now, I would of thought, and personally I'd be happy if he played ahead of Terry, but then I'm not John's biggest fan at International level, he's far too slow, IMHO. Rio is real class, pace and now commitment, captaincy may have been one of Cappello's shrewder moves.

Gerard certainly seemed to have a real work-rate in the second-half, a real improvement on some of his performances in an England shirt, I wonder if Fab dared bollox him at half-time...

Okay guys, name the players to have played for Liverpool and have Premiership winners' medals.

Can't remember how many there are tbh, might be four but can only think of two at the minute

No, he's always the first one people say. He was his league title in 91-92, it was still the Football League then.

Rooney goes on scoring runs and then gets injured or soemthing bad happens and he takes ages to get back into form so I wouldn't be wishing injury on him. Was scoring for fun like this early last season when he got another foot injury and couldn't score for peanuts after.

Ah, yeah good point....

Ince?

Oh, and Roseboy don't really believe my wishing injury on players causes them, otherwise ronaldo, Mackie and Sills would never play again.

Oh what a happy thought:cool2:
