SmackDown thoughts:
- Like that they're putting over the fact that if Big Show punches you, he'll knock you the **** out. Makes sense.
- Love Kozlov's music. Love everything about the guy, actually - he's a classic, old-school "foreign heel", he plays up to it brilliantly and his in-ring style is entertainingly stiff.
- Brie Bella will not interest me at all until they ackowledge the fact that she has a twin sister. The twins thing is really intriguing, but her on her own is just dull. She can't wrestle very well and her character is really generic.
- The R-Truth and Funaki skit was genius. Funaki's wacky charm was good enough, but Truth marking out for his "real name" being Kung Fu Naki was hilarious, as well as the song he made up. It wasn't exactly high-brow, but The Rock used to make jokes like that and people loved it.
- STAND BACK, there's a Hurricane comin' through!
- Not liking the fact that they mentioned MVP being "one win away" from a big wage bonus. Means he probably won't win again for a while.
- Man, J.R. annoys me. Apparently Jeff "literally threw caution to the wind" during his match against MVP. How is that possible?! STOP USING THE WORD LITERALLY FOR THINGS THAT AREN'T LITERAL, you big barbecued idiot!
- This "Kizarny" guy looks weird as. Could be interesting, but I'm not quite sure what on Earth they're gonna do with him.
- The Khali Kiss Cam is gold. Mostly because of Runjin Singh, but the girl they chose this week definitely contributed. It was cruel, but they clearly chose the least attractive girl they could find. Khali's reaction was priceless.
- Triple H vs Big Show was alright. Big Show hitting the Kryptonite Krunch on H was a highlight.
- Marked out to see Triple H and Undertaker in the same ring again, even though H was on the mat at the time and 'Taker didn't so much as look at him. Can't wait for the day they do a stare-down between the two of them. That'll blow the roof off.
- Agree that Kozlov lost a bit of momentum, but I think to an extent it was necessary. To have him dominate H and Hardy the whole time for weeks on end and then
not win the WWE Championship, or not even be in the match at Cyber Sunday, would make no sense. This way they at least put over the idea that there is a way to fight him off, and don't kill his momentum stone dead by not having him win at Cyber Sunday.
