*Official* English Football Season 2008-2009

Norwood's on Fire
Off to Peterborough tomorrow, hoping to have more luck than last time I travelled there, where a selfishly overturned lorry saw us stuck on the M6 for two hours, by the time we got off it we had a vague possibility of making the second half, two of us were in favour of doing this but then my mate's brakes failed when we were on normal roads in Stafford...itstl as to what could have happened if we'd been on the motorway at the time. Anyway, looking forwards to a win for the whites. Is it Brumby who hates Peterborough, am I imagining this?

Quite right. But only because I've been there.

Meh, shouldn't need brakes on a motorway anyway - unless you're one of those idiots who tailgates at 90mph in the overtaking lane.

Typical Liverpool, can't beat the 'gimmie' clubs.

Tranmere blew a 2-0 lead to finish 2-2, can't imagine Corrin will be too happy.

Exeter 2-2 Notts County, Exeter fan i'm friends with is just happy to get a point against anyone so far this season.

Mansfield 1-1 Cambridge Utd, happy enough with this, Cambridge still a decent side.

****ing gutted:@

hmm, and not sure if your on a wind-up, but generally when you concede a ****ing equaliser in the fifth minute of ****ing injury-time to a wanker-player who used to play for you, happy is not a word most ****ing city fans would ****ing associate themselves with, this ****ish evening.

3-3 draw with Oldham in 1 of the best games I've seen at the Vic in a while.

TBF to Oldham they battered us apart from the first 10 minutes after half time when we scored 3 goals & had 2 other glorious chances. Apart from that though Oldham were excellent - Been a while since I've seen a team give us the run around at the Vic as they did, at times, today.

In some ways I want to see Oldham go up, they play good football on the evidence of today have a decent set of fans (brought about a thousand up who were excellently behaved & made some noise) and they arn't Leeds. However they do have Lee Hughes playing for them who got some stick today booed every time he got the ball as well as chants of murderer & you'll never drive again.

Anyway big week for us Leeds away in Carling Cup, can't get there because of work :@ , then Leicster away in the league. We are pants away from home so I think it's going to be astruggle.

Why didn't Tottenham sell Berbatov earlier and brought in some replacements? I'm sure there are a couple of decent strikers they could of picked up with the money they were always going to get for Berbatov (They were always going to get at least £25m for him) or some players in the midfield, or where ever they needed new players.

What are the odds ATM for Juande Ramos to get the arse?
