Perhaps, but Notts are going very well, that's where I'd put my money, considering Somerset and Durham are both facing draws.Lancashire to lose by lunchtime tomorrow, I think. Could Kent come up on the rails and snatch it this year?
I guess so, you can never rule out an in-form Harmison. But they have already lost a whole day, and you get the feeling Sussex would be happy with a draw.Durham haven't bowled yet so it's too early to say whether they're facing a draw or not.
Yes. Given the Chanderpaul/Breese partnership I think Adams will accept that Sussex's outside chance of winning the CC is at an end, and consequently he would be delighted with a draw.I guess so, you can never rule out an in-form Harmison. I know, he demolished their middle order. I can't think of anything that could have happened to make him so effective in the second innings. He's just one of those bowlers who can be all over the place one day, and bang on the next.Bizarre happenings as Nannes takes 6/32 off just 6.1 against Worcestershire.
Would you like a little wager on that David?Lancashire to lose by lunchtime tomorrow, I think. Could Kent come up on the rails and snatch it this year?
Perhaps a bit of both, judging by the economy rate.I know, he demolished their middle order. I can't think of anything that could have happened to make him so effective in the second innings. He's just one of those bowlers who can be all over the place one day, and bang on the next.
Must be pretty damn close to a career-best (some Victorian to confirm\refute).Bizarre happenings as Nannes takes 6/32 off just 6.1 against Worcestershire.
Where did you have in mind? South African franchise cricket? Well I guess they owe us one or two (or we owe them one or two, whichever way you prefer to look at it...).Another failure for Vaughan today. I'll be very disappointed if he's in the India squad. He needs to go play FC cricket in the winter, not sit on the sidelines in the sub-continent.
Yep, been a huge disappointment. Almost wish he'd not played this season in the end, hate seeing a once so superb bowler exit the stage in a half-fit damp squib.Gough's last match today... no wickets, and only 8 overs to boot. He's had a poor season.
Heh, what losing your entire bowling-attack can do. No county could hope to survive that without a massive hit.Worcestershire seem to want to stay in Division 2 next year. We were walking this just a few weeks back
God, he was good when he played for us. Unbelievably good. But it's been a sad cycle of injuries, public criticism of the player (before he even played a game) and underperformance since he's moved up North. Can you offer any explanation for the downward spiral? And I don't really want to see Rana back, for any number of reasons.
That ICL crap clouding his mind IMO.God, he was good when he played for us. Unbelievably good. But it's been a sad cycle of injuries, public criticism of the player (before he even played a game) and underperformance since he's moved up North. Can you offer any explanation for the downward spiral?
Noone said he is an all-rounder. What people who tip Patel for the Test side want generally is for us to play four quicks and him to provide backup. In India we can play 3 quicks, Monty & Patel as the backup spinner.Urgh. Can't stand this double-discipline England POV. Patel is a batsmen who can bowl. Not an all-rounder let alone out and out bowler.
