Don't consider it a burial at all tbh. Orton and Priceless (with one extra member now) costing him the chance to defend his title is a lot better than having him lose it in the ring and it now opens up two massive feud possibilites for Punk. I marked out like a mofo when Jericho got the pin. Great swerve.Hahahaha, such an unexpected ending to Unforgiven, I love it.
edit: Punk got horribly buried though for reasons I can't understand. I mean I know they were setting up for a feud between Orton and Punk but that would have been money for the World Title, to bury Punk like that just, I dunno, makes his whole title reign seem kinda pointless. Didn't want to see him lose it, and I wasn't much impressed going into the match because I didn't want anyone else in it to pick up the belt either. Also makes no sense having Jericho beaten within an inch of his life to then come out and somehow pick up the World Title but at the end of the day, it means we have Jericho as champion which is just awesome. Looking forward to RAW and the future for Jericho so much..
Yeah, would've been cool if it was a title feud but taking the strap off him without him having to do a job is a good idea for mine. It also gives them a lot more freedom where he can absorb a dodgy loss or two in the feud without making their champion look weak.I dunno I guess it is because I was just looking forward to a Punk/Orton title feud. I would assume that will still be the feud anyway. Kofi Kingston getting involved was completely random but pretty awesome.
And yeah I think the HHH result was fairly inevitable. Didn't see the time added though which is lolsworthy.
Wasn't Kofi tbh it was Afa Jr.I dunno I guess it is because I was just looking forward to a Punk/Orton title feud. I would assume that will still be the feud anyway. Kofi Kingston getting involved was completely random but pretty awesome.

There's been a lot of talk about how Triple H doesn't rate him at all. Was disgusted at the time watching him take two swantons a swanton and a facebuster. Proper burial, but must admit laughed my balls off at Hunter's against the odds heroic victory. Also would like to say a big **** You to the WWE for making The Brian Kendrick looking like the biggest bitch in the match seeing as though he was in nearly every single one of the pinfalls
Yeah, and the fact that he got more offense in than MVP means naught, doesn't it?Also would like to say a big **** You to the WWE for making The Brian Kendrick looking like the biggest bitch in the match seeing as though he was in nearly every single one of the pinfalls
You realise it was incredible that he was even in the match, right? He had an interim title reign and pinned Jeff Hardy cleanly, he was made to look far better than Shelton or MVP, who both did nothing at all.Wasn't Kofi tbh it was Afa Jr.

Agreed on all counts. The Scramble matches impressed even though the concept at the start seemed a little off. Jericho with the belt is what's best for the company right now. After a Punk vs Orton feud and the conclusion of the Jericho vs Michaels feud, Jericho having the belt opens up so many opportunities. A Jericho vs Punk feud down the line is what I'm most looking forward to.You realise it was incredible that he was even in the match, right? Jericho as champ = unrivalled awesomeness. Whatever anyone says, taking Punk out of the match does not bury him at all. He lost his title thanks to a four-man beatdown, rather than losing it in a match. It sets up possible Punk vs Jericho, Punk vs Orton, Jericho vs Orton and Jericho vs Batista feuds, plus the continuation of HBK vs Jericho with a title in the picture. An absolute masterstroke from WWE, I will be glued to RAW tonight to see what happens.
Oh, and FWIW, Scramble matches are awesome. The gimmick worked, unquestionably.
Only problem I had with it was that with everyone attacking everyone for a duration of 20 minutes it was sometimes easy to forget who the "current champion" actually was.Only problem I have with the Scramble is if they do this EVERY Unforgiven. Could get old quick.
-Yeah these guys were very good and showed that they have a lot of talent individually. Cryme Tyme especially had a lot of charisma as a team and some of their spots were really good.Ok...well here we go, stayed up late last night and watched Unforgiven and here's my thoughts:
Priceless vs Cryme Tyme: Four young guys putting on a great show here, really enjoyed this, this is the kind of match that makes you wish the E took the tag team division seriously imo, some really good spots, back and forth match, quite exciting, and the end didn't make either team look weak, good stuff.
Jericho vs HBK: Honestly...I'm a bit dissapointed with this match, personally I feel it did't live up to expectations. Didn't really showcase the huge talent of either guy. And barring the Elbow drop through the announce table I didn't feel there was much to get excited about here. At the time I was baffled why it wasn't given the ME slot either....though that later became clear.
RAW Scramble: Pretty solid match, thought Rey provided the most entertainment, the rest of the majority seemed to be Batista delivering endless spinebusters to everyone else....but the result....MARK THE **** OUT!!! What a way to end the show!!!
I'm picking this up on Friday, but I only have a PS2 so I'll be getting that version. The Xbox360 and PS3 versions look amazing though.Oh and a mate of mine who works at JB Hi-Fi recently procured an early copy of this game and was 'gobsmacked' by how good it was. Even his colleagues who aren't wrestling fans can't get enough of playing it out the back. Out this Friday, really really tempted to pick up a copy after what he told me.
No, Kofi got involved backstage when the three of them and Orton were jumping punkWasn't Kofi tbh it was Afa Jr.
