I console myself with the fact that you had to live through 1986-1989; I have absolutely no memory whatsoever of it. I just wish my memories started in 1990 rather than 1992, as I missed that short golden spell we had then.
Yes. A subtle, but very important distinction I agree.
Well, I had to live through 1984-89 ittbt. From the retirements of Lillee Chappell and Marsh up to 89 Ashes, Australian cricket (bar the 87 WC) was pretty smelly.
You poor things. I have to live through 2007/08.Yeap. England sucked 86-89, Australia sucked 84-88\89. Was more down to the premature loss of Hughes, Yallop, Alderman (temporarily) and Hogg for mine than the triple retirement mind.
Fortunately, neither have been quite that bad since then. Can't believe there's ever been a blacker period in the cricket history of either country.
Jono does it all the time IIRC.Dunno about un-Australian, ideally we all want to see a good contest but to support the other country is a bit far...
Now come on. Un-Australian is bad enough, but the abortion of a word that is "tratiorising" actually causes me physical distress. Not un-australian, but supporting another country is a little tratiorising...
Nah, Jono's just an Australian who supports India due to his Indian heritage. He's far from the only one.Jono does it all the time IIRC.
Ahh, though he was 'Anglo-Aussie'. Apart from Sameer & Hingston, who else?Nah, Jono's just an Australian who supports India due to his Indian heritage. He's far from the only one.
STT.Nah, I'm actually what they call 'Anglo-Indian' (hence why I have the world's greatest name).
Anglo-Aussie was in reference to morgieb.Lol Vic you cheeky bugger.
Oh an Anglo-Indian, not Anglo-Aussie.
