Or so they tell you.
They're not Chinese gymnasts.

Both Morkels are injured.

Ian Bell looks like a choirboy in the headlights of a 38-ton HGV.

Trescothick is never coming back to International cricket.

Well done Matt Prior.

Idiot Matt Prior.

It's Ian Bell's fault.

I love England.. 75 odd for 1.. Good start, need to accelarate though.. Who do you send in? The worlds best batsman, or someone who averages 27?

Yes thats right boys, send in the guy who averages 27..

I'd be so angry if I was an England supporter, it's just basic stuff..
Just looking at the average doesnt tell the whole story. Alot of his innings for England have come way down the order where he's had to throw the bat and obviously isnt going to get the sort of average that a top order batsmen will get.

And yet with a class player such as Michael Bevan, his high average was attributed to him coming down the order.. Amazing how attitudes differ..

There's a difference between winning games behind a world class top order and trying to clean up Ian Bell's ****.

So why is his strike rate 76 then. He's batted in 40 of his 42 matches and his record batting at 6 is better than his overall average.

He's just not very good I'm afraid.

He's also had a hell of a lot of ODI failures in a number of circumstances. He's one of the most over-rated ODI players going around AFAIC. He's been a bit better since his most recent recall, but he still hasn't been great by any stretch the imagination.

The combination and contrast of Bell and Prior just doesn't make sense, imo. What are England going for? 50/1 off 10 overs?

Oh and in other news Panesar's County Championship bowling average this season moves into 3 figures, 4 wickets in 134 overs at 107 apiece.

Btw has this guy Botha fixed up his action, because there doesn't seem to be much of visible change in his action
