I think 20 million is far too much for Keane but I also think 32 million is too much for Tevez & 12 million is too much for Crouch so what do I know?
32 million inclusive of 10 mil for loaning him + contract so in the teens actually.

The Arsenal have got the Steve McClaren-managed FC Twente in the 3rd qualifying round of the CL. Pleased for at least two reasons. Yer Scousers have Standard Liege, so would imagine Blighty will complete a Benelux double.

Athletico Madrid v Schalke looks tie of the round.

It looks like Adebayor is going to stay at Arse.

So that's him, Ronaldo, and Barry all staying put.

Millions of tons of wasted ****ing newsprint8-)

Have you ever found fault in anything Man Utd has ever done?

Deadset, open your eyes a little.
Not on here but on United forum, yes. Bit too much anti-United sentiment here for me to dismiss certain things like I do elsewhere. Stating Ferguson's hypocritical, posting an article to show that, questioning skills of certain players, wondering whether addition should be done to stadium instead of paying off debt, etc.
So 32 million then:unsure:

Who pays 10 million for loaning a player anyway?
Quite. £10m for what was a season's loan in effect? Silly money. Tevez is good, but he ain't that good.
Ten million for two seasons. And was just clarifying since you made it seem that it was 32 mil for the transfer fee when it isn't.

It's still stupid money. To suggest Tevez is worth 100 times as much as Lua-Lua was worth two-three seasons ago is kinda.. ridiculous.

And it's still 32 million no matter which way you look at it, no one includes contract money in transfer fee declarations.

Exactly so if the 32 million includes the contract he has for two seasons and the amount it took to loan him then it's 32 million for the transfer fee is it? And surely in today's market 20 mil isn't out of the realms of possibility for a player who's highly regarded in the football world and people wondering if West ham wasn't oo low of a club for him.

Surely it's still 32 million for the transfer? I fail to see how you can't comprehend that.
It's not 32 million for the transfer. Tevez is already playing for Manchester United but he hasn't transferred there. For it be 32 million for the transfer you'd have to add 32 million to his loan fee and contract.
So Loan fee + transfer fee = 32 million
Correct. Where did I dispute a fee of 32 million?

It's early for this thread to become the "Manchester United" thread.

*sighs*

Anyway big news in the LEAGUE, I'm going to have to travel hundreds of miles to sit in agony in excruciatingly small seats.

Still, will take my punishment like a man, knowing I'm not in a tin-pot, micky-mouse, over-hyphenated, piss-poor, non-league crap-shoot.:)
