Happy with Sishayi development over the last two seasons. One day he will be a decent bowler.

Reckon Jeithoon might be able to reach double figures now with the bat.

Obligatory form whinge: Pead has now had an average form of mediocre over the past two and a half seasons, despite playing every week and receiving nets. He's been at superb form for precisely four weeks - all during the off season. This is now really getting on my ****.

Does anyone have a roof tiler I could swap him for?

Another draw coming up for me.

Resting half my side and all my bowlers, I made 367 in the first dig, they're currently at 370-2. Will be interesting as to when they declare, if they declared around now I reckon they'd win it but if they go on to build a big score I have enough batsman I reckon.

Probably couldn't throw my BT20 league if I tried. Will rest anyone who's not sublime as I might be in the cup final next week. Double-header versus NorCricket United this weekend, could go pear-shaped as he's going to GFI me twice with perfect fitness. (n)

Hurren doing his best to lose this for me. Get out, FFS, you're not even that good.

Am ****ed thanks to Hurren, but loled at this commentary.

Code:
39.1 3	Willis to Terry
A difficult three for Terry but he's keeping it real out there and living the dream.
End of Over 40: 199-3, runrate=4.98, reqrunrate=8.90 (287-2)
Willis 10-0-53-0
Terry* 42 (34 balls)
Canning 13 (13 balls)
Last Wicket: Tedstone c. Schofield b. Gibson 0 (FOW: 180/3)

Gah. Made 3/277, and so lost by 10 runs, thanks to Hurren's 75 off 120. Canning and Terry had fun at the end but couldn't get us there.

Howden Heat Magical Ponies

Important win to put me well clear at the top of the league:

NorCricket United 226 (49)
Whitehorne 7-74

Asterix XI 227/5 (47.1)
Howland 126 (135), Cuss 54 (84)

Code:
[b]
	        Asterix XI NorCricket United[/b]
Top Order: elite elite
Middle Order: masterful wonderful
Lower Order: mediocre woeful
Seam Bowling: elite elite
Spin Bowling: elite quality
Fielding: respectable proficient
Actually a pretty easy win, I was 223/1 at one stage. Bizarre performance from Whitehorne. So much easier having Howland as a specialist batsman instead of an allrounder this season.

Got NorCricket again on Sunday in the cup semi.

Key win against 1-man-team yesterday. Still only joint top of the league behind Bompy FK. Will need to defeat them in the 2nd round of matches to gain promotion.
