Oh please... Just stop trolling and making provocative posts. My point has been proven in this match itself. 1st 2 sets were average Tennis, Last 2 worthy of Classic.

I am a sucker for quality in Tennis and not one to be satisfied easily. I didn't want to waste my afternoon watching just another Tennis match and I am much happier now.
1) Not a fan of Borg's face?
2) You're always grumpy on this board yelling at one person or another. To call my posts provocative is quite funny, well almost funny that you'd laugh

Best tennis match ever?
Well we can only talk about recent times, and I think its up there over the last decade. I personally think one could argue Safin/Roger 2005 Semi had an equal quality of tennis, but probably less backstory regarding a rivalry to it. Then you add the Wimbledon factor.

Goran vs. Rafter 2001 Wimbledon final was brilliant as well. And Sampras vs. Agassi US Open 2001 QF was epic, as Sanz linked to earlier in this thread.

Got to admit, I'm not usually the biggest tennis fan in the world, but this is phenomenal. The mental toughness of both players is just astounding.
Yeah, agree with all that.

Earlier in the tournament McEnroe raised a point about tennis that I'd never seriously thought about before: you have to see it through to the end, serve the game out to win or whatever. Unlike with football (much as I love the sport) you can't take the ball to the corner flag to waste time.

That's it for tonight do you think?
Not looking promising, no.

Well, what can I say. I am hard to please and almost always right. :)

Anyways - That comment was supposed to be taken in a friendly way, wasn't seriously suggesting that you were trolling or provoking.

I was legimately curious.
Well, I had stopped watching after 1st 2 sets - had to mow 3000 sqft of yard. When I cam back the 3rd set was still on, thanks to the Rain, and Roger had once again switched to a different Gear.
