Are we watching the same match ? It is a fairly one sided match. This has a straight setter written all over it.

Nadal Crushing Roger here. Roger is playing Nadal's game and obviously not even close in matching him.

Worst call by Sanz. Would think he knows nothing about tennis. Most evenly-matched final in ages. Very little in it, even through the first two sets. And Nadal hasn't dominate Federer at any point, really.

Rooting for Nadal here, I don't know much about tennis, but I'm bored of Federer winning the only competition I ever take any interest in.

Easy to say if after the game has gone to the 5th set and the last 2 sets have been cracker. My comments were about the 1st two sets and it was fairly easy for Nadal in the first 2. He broke Roger fairly easily (3 times ?) and was crusing.

Neither the contest nor the quality of Tennis played in the 1st two sets was worth much.

Yeah, I can relate to that - and after all, records don't always have to be broken: Borg could be forgiven for quietly gunning for the Spaniard.

Nope. If you get the chance, take a look at those first two sets again. Federer wasn't being dominated by any means. In fact, Federer was outplaying Nadal is virutally every area except for, crucially, break points. Remember Federer was up 4-1 in the second set, so it's ridiculous to say that he was dominated.

Massive respect for Nadal in this match. He's played some fantastic shots and has generally just looked a champion waiting to be crowned. I wouldn't mind whoever wins this game. Both players deserve it.

Federer is usually awesome at his first serve under pressure. But against Nadal he misses some shockers. A good indication of the quality of Nadal to get into Federer's head like that.
