Nufan, you're not the only one. I also love Hewitt. Love his spirit and although he's been overtaken a bit in the last few years, when he was at the top he had some class about his game. Gits a little bit ****ty on the field, but so what? Not everyone can be Pat Rafter.

Great to see Djokovichead out, hate watching him play, to me he doesn't have the class and finesse that is needed to be a consistent top 5 player. All you had to do was watch some of the game last night, when he was getting beaten all he tried to do was hit his way out of trouble and Marat has too big of a game when that happens.

Never really sean Ivanovic play before, but boy, she is hot!

Haha, when asked about his next opponent, Safin says something like

"I don't know who it is, when I saw Djokovic in the 2nd round I didn't bother looking at the rest of the draw"

Love that man, so much!
Marat so gun, wish he had his head in the right place, how awesome would it be to have Rafa, Feds, Novak and Marat all at their best in major tournaments. Would be a complete lottery as to who would win.

Look, I love Marat and am loving the fact he won, but I'm not sure how you can say that about Djokovic.

He'll not only be top 5, but easily top 3 for the next decade. He's only 21, and he made the semis of 07 Wimbledon, final of 07 US Open, won the 08 Aus Open, and then the semis of 08 French.

He's an all-courter, and will be a great. He's still got mental issues, but his game is fantastic.

Reckon Hewitt is a ****wit just quietly.

Can't beleive that the Dechy-Ivanovic game was so close either. Love Ana.

Fantastic effort from Safin to beat one of the form players at the moment. Maybe his sister's effort in getting to the French Open final inspired him somewhat to beat Djokovic last night.

Hugely surprised at how incredibly close Ivanovic came to crashing out against Natalie Dechy - talk about cutting it fine.

From a New Zealand point of view, Erakovic plays tonight against a girl who beat Srebotnik, bit of a surprise there. If Marina can win that she plays Vera Zvonerava who she beat at the ASB Classic in January. Potentially then Jankovic though I guess best not to get too far ahead of oneself given the fortunes of Djokovic and almost Ivanovic in their second round matches.

True, but I'm very confident that she'll win tonight's match. She's in outstanding form and will hopefully have overcome the nerves of playing her first ever match at Wimbledon in the first round.

Apparently there was quite a strong Kiwi contingent courtside in the first round, hope they're there again tonight.

One thing I never understood is why Safina is so unattractive, what happened to her genes.

Am hoping so too. Fingers crossed she can win this one and get on one of the main courts for a (likely) match against Zvonerava.

Well Jono, Gulbis has won 6 games in the first set against Nadal and Nadal is fighting hard to stay in the first set. Have been stuck in the dueces for what seems like an age. Gulbis currently on about his 3rd set point....and that's it, he takes the first set against Nadal 7-5. Wonder if he can keep it up?

And progresses through to the 3rd round, 7-6 in the second.

She was 3-1 up and on the verge of breaking a second time though but it looks like nerves got to her again.

India's Sania Mirza out 9-7 in the third set :(

Mainly been watching Ind vs. Pak, but he came out of the blocks didn't he? I knew Gulbis had the ability to push Nadal in a set, but not take one.

Nadal taking the next 2 should be safe, but ya never know.
