No real problems for me. It's a bit slow, but that's pretty standard these days.

Is there any real shame in throwing FC. Fitness already taking a massive hit after just two weeks. Only chance I can reagularly win OD matches is GFI'ing as well. Also my so called depth that was meant to make me a decent FC side is just that so called. Way too relient on two batsmen and three bowlers (with no fitness). Time to play with my head not my heart. Bye, bye FC.

Or in my case, goodbye OD :)

You go for one or the other, I guess. That's why I promoted from FC III to FC II while going the other way in OD.

This season's all about survival in a tough FC II (is there any other kind?!) while preventing myself from falling into OD IV.

So, it's just as well that I managed a win today, after last week's heartbreaking 18-run defeat with all of 10 minutes' play left.

Yet again, got put in to bat by NorfolkENchange...and, yet again, got bowled out cheaply -- 153 in this case, on a cracked pitch with overcast conditions. Despite this, and a sunny second day, my bowlers managed to bowl him out for 137, a first innings lead of 16!

Second innings, with the sun shining, and I managed 197, so Freaky was chasing 213.

It was all going so well for him, at 95/1...but then John and Gibb got to work, and they collapsed to 147/10. Withington win!

Unfortunately, by bowlers are knackered...so it'll be at least two reserves pitched in tomorrow, for what will almost certainly be another OD defeat. Bothered? Not particularly.

Fuller beat me again. Disappointing, especially since I don't think he checks his side anymore.

And that's the end of the match. Henry's Dream Team won by 7 wickets.
Saggers Mob 252-2
Henry's Dream Team 256-3

Disappointing score from me, especially after only losing two wickets. Ryan at the top of the order is a real problem 14 off 46. Garcia's 65 off 94 didn't help much either. Elmes gunned it as usual - run a ball 123.

BARNES OUT
Smashed my game, bowled them out for 80 and chased it without loss. Got a 179 in Batstats, if Coburn and Conn find some bowling form I should push up well into the 180's.

A rare OD win for Kipper XI, the introduction of Knight to replace Chambers, and the promotion of Causon to opening batsman/fourth bowler has worked well in place of Vernon, with Causon's batting in particular being impressive, with 75 in this match.

Bowled oppo out for 68, got 'em with one down.

New ratings are in, missing another batsman quite badly in the top order and Kaaapers is knackered. He's 1 of 2 who are getting trained in the middle order so that should improve this season.

Would have *** with your seam attack tbh.

270k BTR of NT batsman is knocking my bowlers around the park. Didn't get time to switch pitches or I'd be on a batting surface, so now I'm looking at trying to chase 300+ on a green pitch. Not going to win this one, I reckon.

End of Over 25: 127-0, runrate=5.08
Marriott 6-1-38-0
Govender* 66 (93 balls)
Cahill 61 (57 balls)

Unusually, someone seems to be throwing a game against me. In previous seasons, it's always been my rivals who've had the benefit.

So, they've managed a humungous 26/10, which my lot should chase down within a few overs for my first league OD win of the season. Reckon I'll need 5 or 6 more to guarantee safety.

Bayswater Sharks 232 for 4 (50)
Hotte 68, Gothard 45; Verhoeven 3/50, Bosnich 1/52

Opening Balance 234 for 1 (43.1)
Harris 116*, Kanelo 69, Ludlow 41; Vermaak 1/35

A comfortable victory today at the Gabba. Slightly disappointed only 4 wickets were taken, but I guess I can't really expect too much more considering all 5 bowlers are only Superb or Remarkable. I'll take their relatively economical stuff though. Harris is so gun, dominates, and Kanelo is proving to be a very good buy, and has settled into his role at the top of the order nicely, something that Stroud struggled to do in Div IV.

A hilarious collapse sees 8 wickets fall in the last 13 balls to tart up Pead and Oleary's figures, but I've still got to chase 268 on a green pitch against a quality/quality bowling lineup. Possible, but unlikely.

End of Over 50: 268-8, runrate=5.36
Oleary 10-0-54-4
Cunningham* 9 (4 balls)
Fordham 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Macken Run Out 0 (FOW: 268/8)

Edit: but chase it we do, and it's another famous victory for the Beards as Janes and new man Boardley combine to haul in the total with an over to spare. Have now taken down the first and third placed teams from last season in consecutive weeks.

And that's the end of the match. Beard XI won by 6 wickets.
Dagenhamshire 268-8
Beard XI 269-4

End of Over 49: 269-4, runrate=5.49
Macken 9-0-61-2
Alshaun* 1 (1 balls)
Janes 104 (115 balls)
