Yes the young Warne-style legger did a decent job. Some immense hitting later on from Albie Morkel, when he goes big it certainly travels!
Fair play to Durham, they came from nowhere and won relatively comfortably.

WTF is Freidel De Wet doing playing for Lancashire seconds??? Thought he was signed by Middlesex as a kolpak?

Anyway, Flintoff and Glen Chapple playing in the seconds as well, Flintoff should get a bat today.

.

That is what I want to know.
Maybe Lancs are thinking of getting him into the squad to join the long list of bowlers
Flintoff, Anderson, Chapple, Cork, Mahmood, Newby, Hogg, Smith, Cheetham.......

Maybe some of our bowlers who can't can a permanent place in the first XI are thinking of leaving. Hogg has been there 8 years, 19 CC matches in his first 5 years and 16 in the last 3 years

Yeah, well done Chris - they only needed 3 as well. :)

Hants need 63 off eight to put Surrey out of the tournament; no surprise to see Carberry doing well against one of his former teams.

Benning appears to have been dropped after batting through the innings for 50 in their last game.

Ha, Robert Croft just used "gun" as an adjective on the commentary of the Worcs/Somerset game.

First time I've seen Magoffin bowl; looks very ordinary to me. Somerset going v well; 110-2 off 13. Trego & Blackwell having a bit of fun.

Simon Jones was certainly mixing it up there - bowled the first four balls of an over at 68, 85, 65 and 86.

Somerset have kept wickets in hand though and should be able to post a big target here.

Landmark match for Graeme Hick - his 1196th first-team game, beating Gooch's record. He went past the List A record a couple of years back.

Yeah, he was moving it around a bit. Weathered the early onslaught by Langer.

177 to win, that's quite gettable on a small ground I'd have thought. Outfield is fast.

After the break, news of Flintoff's comeback match for Lancs 2nds. Talk of him playing in tomorrow's game.

Good spell from Harmison against Leicestershire, 2 wickets for 12 runs from his 4 overs. Leicestershire in some trouble 66 for 4 from the first 11 overs.

Exellent by Lancs to restrict Yorkshire to 135. Only Hogg and Croft, not unsurprisingly, bowled poorly (although Saj's slower ball has a tendency to go awry. Should refrain from using it in future) and we were brilliant in the field, Croft's dropped catch aside (not had a good game, has Steven.)

Lancs have about half an hour to knock of these runs before Leeds-Saints starts. How dare Sky organise their schedule so that the two most important domestic sports games of the year clash? Disgraceful.
