Yeah but I doubt any clubs is going to force a player to stay at a club, if they really wanted to get out. Asking a club for a release is just the right procedure to follow. It really doesn't make much difference.
I seriously doubt that any club who has one of the top three players in the game signed for the next five years, is going to let that player walk away. I'd rather a slightly disgruntled SBW at my club than a happy factory standard first-grader.

I'm sure SBW when confronted with the choice between (a) having to sit on the sidelines for the next five years/being sued for a couple of million versus (b) playing league and earning $400 000 per year minimum, will opt for the latter.

Contracts, entered into freely with no get-out clauses, are binding unless there is consent from both sides to rescind.

Yeah I guess that what happened with Jamie Lyon. There is always a way out, if they want it.

So what's the deal with SBW? I assume the Dogs buying up players suggests that he's going elsewhere...unless they had a surplus after losing O'Meley, Mason and Myles.

Was expecting him to be distracted last night...should have known better.

Wigan are favourites to sign Tim Smith in a bid to jump start his rugby league career. With Mark Riddell (they being best mates) joining them and that he would enjoy a quieter profile over there then what he does in Australia. Well a lot quieter then what Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo or Steve Gerrard are used too.

They got heaps to spend with or without SBW.

Losing Hannant yesterday and likely Ennis today is shattering. Our two priorities gone :(

Folau better score three tries and make 90 tackles per game next season to make up for it.

I've heard he's a nutter. Any truth?
Has Bi-polar and has had a few problems but is potentially one of the best halfbacks in the game, pretty shocked he hasnt been picked up by the Gold Coast, think he'll spend 2-3 years in England and then come back and play with the Titans.

Nah, don't be stupid. Was midnight, so I just grabbed the one from the draw I downloaded at the start of the season. You'll get over it.

Think he'll tear it up over here if he stays off the sauce & on his meds. In fact could see him coming over to union in a few years too; has the kicking game to be a gun fly-half.

Anyway:

Broncos
Cowboys
Knights
Dragons
Raiders
Roosters
Sharks
Storm
