One cricketer, while talking about another cricketer, says that if he had born as a British or an Australian, he would have commanded the same respect from critics as Bradman did. Who says this about whom?

Len Hutton said it of Gavaskar.

"If Gavaskar had been born a British or Australian the critics would have bracketted him at par with Bradman"

Not that I agree with him :)

I am an international cricketer. I had a nickname that had funny/quirky reason why it was given to me.

Yes it has two parts.
1. Whats the nickname
2. Whats the reason

Of course, you will get the name of the cricketer in the process(in all probability) as also some other information about him.

I understand that it seems to start with what looks like very little information but its really about a very strange nick name I came across and an even stranger reason for it. I honestly dont know how else to frame it.
