Cricket is about nation vs nation. I can't get excited about two gay franchises playing each other. Give me a test match above the Calcuta Pansies playing the Mumbai Kiddie Fiddlers any day.

rohit sharma should never try to play that little scoop shot ever again. thats twice now that he's been embarrassingly bowled attempting it. there was no need for it, and if he kept going, DC could have won this match.

Shaun Darsh is deadset the most attractive batsman in world cricket. My favourite batsman bar none.
He may be the most attractive bastman - But the lady below is by far most attractive
batsperson.

Been looking to post the picture for a while but needed a decent pretext.

Absolutely.

He still tried to justify it later during an interview and i was appalled. As Greg Chappell said the Guy doesn't need these 'clever' shots - not in T20 not anywhere else.

I think he's just in such good touch, he think he can play any shot in the book at any time. Just needs to pare it back a little.

EDIT: I know it's been said so many times but dead-set, whoever was responsible for picking up Shaun Marsh, triple his pay. Those of us in Aus have known he was a special talent but he's really been playing well for some time now. I personally first saw him bat at about 19 or so when he played in an Australia A game and his second ball sticks in my mind; a good length ball he clipped through mid-wicket for 4. It was absolutely full of authority and was hit so hard it probably left a dent in the fence which is still there.

He seems to have combined his Dad's technique and grit with Symonds' ability to hit the ball. Scary combo if he gets it right enough to push for a baggy green.

I always heard he had talent but the kid looks world class in this format

If nothing else, his team can sell him prior to next year and earn a motza

Lol, how good is Marsh? He IS the Kings XI. Top scored for his team in 7 out of 8 innings, won 4 man of the match awards, averaging 75...Freak.

But the best bit about him is he's also really awesome to watch bat. I wish I saw that game last night because 3 of the best batsman to watch of the tournament (Marsh, Sanga and Rohit Sharma) all made scores. Would have been great to see.

Whatever it takes!!!
if you know your cricket then you should know that a 5 wkt win with 10 balls to spare is a comprehensive victory :clown:
and if YOU know ANY cricket, you should know that after being 100/0 after 9 overs to win with 10 balls and just 5 wickets to spare is NOT a good victory.

haha, whats more ironic me calling someone a dunderhead .... or a dunderhead writing without comprehending stuff and then resorting to personal abuses

did I Q anyone giving me the info .... i merely said that i couldn't find the info

so are you posting to tell me that Dravid knows more abt cricket than i do lol .... very smart indeed .... thanks for enlightening me on that 8-)

your above post only sums up your mentality and the fact that why ppl like you increase the DQ of the forum

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.. people said he was injured in reply to this below post of yours and you asked "Any links?" If that is not questioning ppl who are watching the game, then I dunno what is.... 8-)

haha, B'lore getting thrashed, a familiar thing .... not surprising as many had predicted this before the start of the tourney by seeing the team

Mallya has the right to be upset. He should have backed his instinct rather than following some bad advise

I can't believe that someone like Boucher is sitting out for Kallis .... thats what you get by having a dunderhead like Dravid at the helm

And you know, I am not the one resorting to personal insults. But don't expect to call cricketers names here when it is patently untrue and then to get away with it. And let me get this straight... U calling Dravid a "dunderhead" is ok but I can't call u that? Come on, at least I am speaking the truth. :p

And yeah, you are a dunderhead because you called someone else, who knows a lot more about the thing we are discussing than you do, a "dunderhead"... And the rest of your post shows who resorts to personal insults... And it is not me. And Bangalore won a lost match coz of Dravid's innings and Mumbai lost a won match because of your beloved T20 specialist Uthappa's innings. Go and  over that..... 8-)

this is heights of dumbness .... do you actually read the whole thread before replying too or are you just merely picking out my posts and replying to it
well, you are more than qualified to comment on what is the "height of dumbness".... 8-)

I have always maintained that Robin Uthappa is one of the most bird-brained cricketers in the world and he never fails to prove me right.

800,000 USD for this idiot has to be the worst purchase ever made by the Ambani family
I bet Sachin was wishing he had Dravid instead of Uthappa there... :)

I can see a movie in this

Sharukh Khan will be cast as the hero that saves KKR from the villain Sourav

All the latter has to do is grow a moustache (plus sing, dance and say heaps of corny lines badly) and we've got a Bollywood hit on our hands
what do u reckon he should call it?

KKR ho ya na ho?

Really true. Once again he cruised to 50 off 26 by playing explosive but orthodox cricket, but once again he contrived to get himself out. You could see it by his reaction when dismissed that they're trying to get him to stop it but for some reason he keeps losing his concentration.

As SJS mentioned Chappell summed it up best, when he plays proper cricket it looks impossible to remove him, but he's doing the hard work for the bowlers by outfoxing himself.

That was the big turning point for mine, with him there they could've gotten 190-200 but in the end 175 wasn't going to be enough with their bowling attack and with the quality in the Punjab lineup.
