Sehwag took 2-0-21-1, Mahesh 2.1-0-35-0.
Obviously Mahesh is the better bowler but that doesn't automatically mean you bowl Mahesh ahead of Sehwag 100% of the time.
When Sehwag brought himself on, Amit Mishra had just bowled a succesful first over (4 runs, 1 wicket right after RR were rampaging at 13 an over) and so spin from both ends was a tactic worth trying. Worked for that one over too when he went for only 3 runs. Then Watson cut loose again.

Mahesh had a few catches dropped off him, and some misfields as well. Moreover, that was Shane Watson batting, and you need your best bowler facing him, not someone smashed for 30 runs in two overs last time around. Besides, they had McGrath and Maharoof as well, so they could have tried both to claim those wickets.

Sid Trivedi had another surprisingly good match now. He may just hold his place in the XI, but questions may be asked about fielding both Munaf and Sid together. Do you need that? Both are average bowlers, and while Sid isn't very powerful or consistent, Munaf has lost a lot of pace and is a liability on th field. Instead, that place can go to a batsman who's very effective on the field, and let the four overs be bowled by Yusuf Pathan with Ravi Jadeja as backup. Something to think about?

It's a good idea to try different combinations, especially when you're firmly at the top of the table. Rajasthan have done well to try all their players and have some tested bench strength.

Can't say I've agreed with any of your posts in this thread. Both are going at about 7.7 an over, which is a very acceptable rate and both (especially Trivedi) have picked up key wickets. Warne is getting the most out of them and to change a winning, top of the table formula now seems really silly.
