That?Have to say, that backfired bigtime.
Coincidence I imagine - there's all sorts of very odd ads that do the rounds. Why do I have the 'Meet Lesbian singles in your area today' ad when this isn't even some controversial gay thread?
Hmm... that's an interesting one. From guesswork rather than survey, I'd say the majority of CW posters tend to be tied more often than not. And not that many of us have massive postcounts - there's only 5 with more than 20,000, for example.Tbh, you can assume that most people with thousands of posts on a cricket forum are in fact single.. I think these dating sites have got their target markets sewn up..
No meaningful cricket. For me the big surprise (and concern) is JUST TEN votes for Pakistan. Why ? Are we losing our Pakistani friends ?
That could be a thread idea, how much bias, arguments etc could we get in that thread?Very interesting that NZ/ENG/AUS have an almost 2:1 numerical advantage over the subcontinent fans. I would not have guessed that. On this site, the English fans tend to be the best, in terms of post quality.
Well, let's not forget that Pakistan has 1/6th the population of India while having a roughly similar level of development. SL in turn has 1/8th the population of Pakistan. It's India which is probably under-represented among sub-continental countries. For me the big surprise (and concern) is JUST TEN votes for Pakistan. Why ? Are we losing our Pakistani friends ?
Cricket is only the 2nd (3rd?) sport in England, though. In India and parts of Australia it's huge.Among developed countries, England seems to be underrepresented.
