Hayden calls Harbhajan an obnoxious weed

Old News, Here is the update :- Allan Border backs Harbhajan (Oh and that's an Aussie Newspaper and LAst time I checked Border was an Aussie too)

And former Australian cricket captain, Allan Border, has also supported the Indian spinner.....He praised Harbhajan for his behaviour when he was baited by sections of the SCG crowd.

"I was over that side of the ground and Harbhajan was copping a fair bit of stick from the crowd," Border said.

"I didn't notice any gestures at all and I thought he handled himself pretty well.

"It's not a big deal."

No wonder you have not said anything about the racist abuse from the crowd :-

Witnesses said Harbhajan - who was branded an "obnoxious little weed" by Matthew Hayden last week - was retaliating to sustained crowd abuse during Australia's innings.

It was claimed some fans taunted the divisive spinner to "show us your knob" and "get a haircut" - both references to his Sikh roots.

As usual your honest and unbiased take on Harbhajan issue is very much appreciated. You continue to set new standards in this regard. Well Done.

Hahaha lol'd at the smh article.

One spectator sitting in the Bill O'Reilly stand, Craig Woodbury, said Harbhajan also spat towards the crowd after they called him "a wanker". "He definitely made the monkey gestures and he spat towards us," Woodbury said. "It was a bit disgraceful really, especially after what happened here in the Test match [with Symonds].

"There are a lot of young people sitting here and it was inappropriate. He is a role model to a lot of people. If he wants respect he has to treat others with respect.

Irony much

If members of the crowd said that, then they should be thrown out as well, simple as that

As I said earlier, I'm totally over this tour

Unfortunately, it comes with the territory - people who get paid a relative fortune for performing in the public eye are required to uphold a different standard of behaviour to the spectators.

Whatever it takes!!!
Having lived in QLD for years and heard him on the same joke radio station for ever, bottom line is ...... who cares?

We are talking about a great cricketer with zero personality telling the truth about Harby (a guy who has ZERO respect in the cricketing community) and the latter being backed up by their Mummy whilst they invite all and sundry to dinner

I am so sick of this tour it's not funny
Conveniently forgetting that Hayden himself has ZERO respect in the international circuit.

Hard to take big empty talk seriously. Even on an internet forum.

(as an aside, doubt if even your buddies Symonds and Hayden will back you up, once the impact on their paychecks becomes clear. If they're this mad at Indian cricketers, they could've just not signed up for the IPL boondoggle, simple as that).
Just what does signing for IPL have to do with anybody's feelings for the Harby? ZERO

Stop making excuses for this imbecile and get it through your head that they cant stand the guy, not the race or country

As far as I know, Hayden is generally disliked

The point is that he said something that the vast majority of non-Indians would agree with

His new bosses obviously think that he's marketable enough to pay him a shed load of rupees

BTW, just what has Symonds done (other than cop racial abuse) to earn this dislike?
