Need to bat out most of tomorrow to take the game to the 3rd day. Re-set my declaration target at 500. If we get to 500 we should get the game into a 3rd day. Reckon with 400 there is still a chance we might bowl them out before stumps tomorrow.

I'm not that annoyed that both Lucas and Clayton failed to get hundred and got out just before stumps. It means their PFLs should recover before Friday and Sunday. A bit concerned about Murali fitness, he is in now. I set him on attacking so either he scores quickly or gets out quickly.

Will be interesting to see what happens, they got a decent bowling attack. But it is flat pitch and they struggling to take wickets. Reckon they will bowl us out just over 400.

I would declare, set no follow on. Then once you bowl them out, bat for rest of day. Pretty saw even if say Farmer gets 200 odd in the 2nd innings. The little break will keep your PFLs ok. But if someone scores 500 plus in the first innings, they might struggle for a week or so.

Well, Davies' match figures of 5-5-0-6 improve his season average to 7.71 at a strike rate of 19.75. Causon also made a promising debut, albeit against an absolutely shocking bot opponent.

Not happy with the batting performance at all. They got a good seam attack, but I reckon we still should be able to score a lot more runs that. I need to get a better middle before I think about promotion in FC. These guys just can't seem to score runs against a decent attack.

Happy with the bowling performance, but it was nothing line up. Murali best FC bowling performance to date. Always good to see Jeithoon take a 5-fer, but most of the wickets were tailenders in his 2nd spell. Still needs a lot of work it seems to knock over top orders, pretty dire considering he is already exquisite and most bowlers finish long before that.
