Tendulkar, yet to get a century in Australia, has looked out of sorts at the top of the order. Last match, he was playing and missing, fending and blocking, out for less than ten. Now he was bowled by a screecher by Malinga for zero. He's not looked the same Tendulkar of the 90's, scoring rapidly then, and maybe now, there's a case for him to bat down the order, so that any two of Uthappa, Sehwag, Gambhir and Kumar can open.

And of course, an edge off Uthappa is parried away by Sangakkara in that same over.

Oh dear, Tendulkar fails spectacularly once more in a crunch situation, also bowled.

It continues to be very disconcerting to watch Uthappa shuffle across to every delivery.
(ps catch dropped off Uthappa too). At this moment, I have a hard time deciding who is the better fit for #3 - Uthappa or Pathan.

He's not looking the same Tendulkar of Jan 2008, even.

Oh brother...Uthappa often bats like Ricardo Powell...specialist bat without brain.

We see him getting a hint of a start, and then he flings his bat towards off, getting caught behind or at point. Or he's doing nicely, taking singles with ease, then tries to swat one for six over square leg, getting caught in the inner ring.

Dhoni, fielding alone won't win you matches. You would need batsmen to score some runs too. Haha loving this ITBT.

He looked better in the last game before he was out. I reckon that he will get around 30-50 and will then be out.
We need more from him. Hoping he delivers. This series needs some Yuvraj and Dhoni fireworks for it to feel complete for me.

Haha. Dhoni almost run out again. Has hurt his shoulder but don't think that he will call for a runner.

Really good comeback here by India. But man how much do we rely on standout performances from our main players to win matches. It bad enough that we rely so much on 4-5 players. But the fact that we require a couple of these guys to have big matches, just to win games is a joke. Really need to develop better depth ASAP.

Need 2-3 quick wickets here, or game over.
