Something against West Ham football club even....

Green is hardily short though. He's 6' 3" (191cm)

I would have expected Dean Ashton to have been considered too even though he is coming back from injury and even Matty Etherington who is a true left-side midfielder.
Don't see how Ashton can be considered, hasn't looked the same player since he's come back from injury, and can't even get in the Irons starting line-up.

Green is a good shout, but there seems to be reservations about his decision-making. I'd have him in the squad, and Etherington too. It has been odd that his name never get's mentioned considering our paucity of options in that position.

When he played regularly he got a regular spot in the England squad. When he started playing less for Liverpool he still scored for England.

well done arsenal, potentially tricky fixture turned out be to a fairly routine win, man city didnt really get out of first gear today, martin petrov fortunately had an absolute shocker or a game, and stupidly elano picked up a pointless yellow card which means he will be suspended for the manchester derby. Nice goal by eduardo, lets see how man utd and chelsea do later today....

BARNES OUT
Yeah, Petrov was shocking.

Once again we were all run and nothing on the end of it. For about 20 minutes in the middle of the second half we had around 75% of the ball and were moving it around well (unless it went to Petrov) but there was just nowhere to go up front, and then Arsenal's midfield pressure would shut it down and off we go again on the counter-attack.

It's amazing to watch Cesc off the ball, does so much extra work.

I've never been totally confident away from home this season, ffs. Still though, Spurs being what they are, I still think we could well end ujp winning 3-1 or 4-1 despite playing gash.

Two matches undefeated for Derby - longest streak of the season.

Paul Jewell has at last instilled a little pride, some fire in the belly, and who knows, we just might win a game one of these days.

Tito Villa's first goal for The Rams today, and Giles Barnes nearly won it in injury time.

With the Dirties, the Florists and the Basils losing today, it's almost bearable to be a Derby fan again.

Well, another comfortable win against Stevenage. They may just not match up well against us, but how they're top 3 I'll never know. There Goalie was their MOM, terrible in defence, toothless up front. The two matches at home against 'em have been two of the most comfortable we've had in the Conference, even if the first was in the cup.

Still, good performance from us. We're a better team since we got rid of the deadwood, our only attacking option is no longer hoofing it up to a bloke who's offside 9 times out of ten. Played football today, which is a sure oasis in this nightmarish division of oafish thuggery and petty officiating.

Oh and...

You can stick your Jamie Mackie up your arse!!!!!!

There was a "Hyundai A League" show on Sky the other night. I didn't tune in.

In important news, Paul Tisdale highlighted the folly of not signing three new players on deadline day by smashing Stevenage into little pieces at the Park for the second time this season. Oh how I wish we had a manager who knew what he was doing, like an ex-England boss, rather than a trumped-up ex-PE teacher.

Bring on Ebbsfleet. I need to see us win something...

As Eddie alluded to, dirty Leeds were thoroughly beaten on their own patch on Saturday. What a fantastic victory. WE ARE GOING UP.
