Bit of advice for anyone who's partial to a bet - put a few bob on Pompey to win the FA Cup this year. Besides the Big Four, two of whom are playing each other in the last 16, we're the best side left in it.
Agreed - I don't think they'll win it but they're surely worth a punt.

In other news, disappointing from Arsenal this week - it's taken them two games to beat Newcastle by the same score we did in one.

Well our seasons still on, just about. Great result last night.

Bit annoyed we're playing Stevenage on the weekend, after such a tough game, rather then Farsley Celtic which was scheduled.

Woodgate and now Hutton, eh? Not a terrible deal considering how screwed up Tottenham have been defensively. If they can get a decent back four working together then they'd be a force to be reckoned with. They certainly don't need to improve up front.

Shouldn't laugh but from the BBC rolling sport thingy:

2126: Crockwatch - Jonathan Woodgate starts to limp for Spurs at Goodison Park...

Honestly, what did Spurs expect:wacko:

And it seems we've signed Felipe Caicedo from Basel for 11m pounds. Not sure on it tbh, though I've not seen him play. Anyone want to give me a run down? All I know so far is he's Ecuadorian.

EDIT: Just looked up his wiki, looks a young gun. Looking forward to see him play.

January transfer window is full of overpriced players. Hutton for 9m? Gary Cahill for 5mil? Christ.

Where do Tottenham get all their money from? I know season ticket prices are a rort (looking at about $2500 in Australian dollars), but where else?

No-one joins Man City (yet). itstl.

Darius Vassell isn't going to get us into the Champions League, tbbh.
Your lot have taken Inter youngster Filippo Mancini on trial. Although I doubt he would be playing much in the first team if he joins.

If the radio is to be believed, we're playing the best we've played all season.
Our first half was exceptional - Ronnie's first was a lovely interplay with Nani, his second just stunning. My favourite part, though, was Scholesy running the show from midfield - the man is such a gun.

Second half was little more than a training run, and TBH we looked pretty casual at times, but Pompey never really threatened. Job done, roll on Spurs on the weekend.
