I'm willing to listen and debate too.So many changes I would make to this South African side.
Shaun Pollock should be in the side for Andre Nel, while Herschelle Gibbs needs to be dropped. I'd also seriously consider getting rid of Hashim Amla and AB de Villiers, but they have put runs on the board just lately. Graeme Smith is safe because he's the captain, but he certainly shouldn't be.I'm willing to listen and debate too.
Also, I think that the game is (obviously) out of SA hands, not even these two stone-wallers at their best can stop what is coming.
Agree with the Pollock swap 100%, but as to whether that will happen is another question. But it is probably for the best South Africa lose this game, so it can go back to old faithful. You may know this already or not, but one of the posters on here said that Morne Morkel, when fit, will be a straight swap for Nel. So the SA selectors have already penciled in a long term plan for their team.Shaun Pollock should be in the side for Andre Nel, while Herschelle Gibbs needs to be dropped. It won't happen, and for some reason Pollock seems to be out of favour with the selectors despite him having a number of things in his favour. Not to mention Andre Nel being poor for a while now.Agree with the Pollock swap 100%, but as to whether that will happen is another question. I'd rather select a 30 year old who is more likely to put runs on the board in the immediate future than a 23 year old who isn't going to do much, but could be a very good Test batsman in the future. And this leads us to the batsmen. It's hard to say whether they are out of form or not. Smith and AB should be opening, even though both have not been scoring many runs lately, I get the feeling that they are both parts of the bigger picture (include Amla in this too); young and talented.
Ideally, I'd pick the following XI for South Africa.Who would you like to see in the team? The options seem to be McKenzie, Boeta and Duminy.
Rang up to complain, the fellow was not sure why, but said they are showing the whole thing tomorrow from 9amCable in Australia not showing this game tonight
Is there any legit radio station that is doing an audio stream of this match that anyone knows?

No more posting in this thread for me, don't tell me the score lalalalalalala I am not listening......
True, but if you don't know the score what is the difference? Its not the same as live though by any stretch
I feel the difference Archie.True, but if you don't know the score what is the difference?
I also suggested a channel just for cricket
Fair enoughI feel the difference Archie.
When I watch a replay It does not give me the same aura as a live match, I would prefer to listen live on the radio than watch a replay. Particularly as it looks like the West Indies are about to do something dramatic in the first test.
I like the cricket channel idea.
Fox Sports cricket! Would be awesome.True, but if you don't know the score what is the difference?

Yes I would watch and even county cricket (do they even show the County Championship in the Old Dart?)Fox Sports cricket! Would be awesome.
They should also start showing Pura Cup games on Fox. I reckon that'd be a huge selling point to a lot of people.
Not sure, I think they show the One Day games though since I've seen a fair bit of that on YouTube.Yes I would watch and even county cricket (do they even show the County Championship in the Old Dart?)
