Good recovery by Laxman and Dhoni, if they can get up to 200 then they should look to put more pressure on Pakistan and Malik. Shoaib Akhtar is the only one who has looked dangerous.

Well the ball is reversing and Pakistani bowlers are born with the skill of reversing the ball so the Indians will have tough session post tea.

50 up for Dhoni, off 78 balls. Laxman also playing well, but how they bat against Shoaib will be the real key.

I get the feeling that Shahid Afridi's leg-spin would have really come in handy for Pakistan about now, he's got a good knack for taking wickets.

Geez Danish Kaneria has been crap lately, averages over 36 against Test standard teams.

Prince EWS, you were saying you didn't think Tanvir would be able to swing the ball (on those lines). How has he bowled?

It's bit a bit of a mixed bag really. He has definitely got some movement today but only in one direction and only at 115-122km/h which is Ganguly's pace. At times he has looked really dangerous but at times he has looked complete fodder. I think he'll be "figured out" eventually but he might enjoy a honeymoon period before that. He needs to develop a ball which at least doesn't have move across so much, even if it doesn't come back.
