Bracken's performance over the last couple of years is also with him on this case.

Besides which Nnanden asked for people to include any cult/personal favourites as well as base it purely on merit...

More than 25% of people who have voted in the above poll can't find room for Ricky Ponting in their ODI team?

by the time you scroll the poll option ...which already dont have others option
you will miss the first post in between ;)
It doesn't have an others option because that will in no way help us name a final XI. If there has been an obvious oversight, like that of Brett Lee, please list it.

pollock,younis khan,Rahul Dravid.......:)
Yeah, asked to put Pollock on the poll if you could be bothered to read back about two pages. No huge loss though IMO. Dravid and Younis Khan are joke choices for a ODI team.

Also Peter Ongondo, Thomas Odoyo and RTD
Again, as much as I respect the Kenyans achievements, there is no way they would make a final XI. Same goes to RTD, but I admit not seeing him as beeing so popular.

Mine would normally include Gul, but if we're doing it on merit, and a certain ODI masterplan I've developed then the team is as follows:

Jayasuriya
Gilchrist+
Ponting*
Dravid
Yousuf
Clarke
Symonds
Pollock
Bond
Bracken
Muralitharan

Duuuuuuuuude, shut up! I'm not repeating myself again and again. Those players are all very much liked by the majority on the forum. Read the first post and go watch India lose to Pakistan.

EDIT: Aimed at BI. Love you shortpitched...

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
Judging from the votes so far, the overall team is:

1. Matthew Hayden
2. Adam Gilchrist
3. Ricky Ponting
4. Sachin Tendulkar
5. Kevin Pietersen
6. Michael Hussey
7. Andrew Symonds
8. Yuvraj Singh
9. Brett Lee
10. Shane Bond
11. Muttiah Muralitharan

Most people can seem to agree on Lee, Bond and Murali as first three bowlers, but not the other two. Flintoff 12th man so far with 1 vote behind Yuvraj.
