Sigh why does Rudi have to get his grubby paws all over one of the greatest knocks on Australian soil in recent times?

I've never rated him as an umpire, unlike others. Always thought he made some crucial decisions poorly. Nevertheless it was a great knock by Sanga.

MacGill shouldn't be playing any more tests for the near future at least where I am concerned. Maybe think about him for a subcontinent tour in the future (whenever it happens) but not right now.
I don't agree with that MacGilla's talent is very well known to all of us he just is having a rough time of it atm (and he probably has a dodgey knee too) so he needs all the support he can get atm from his team-mates because ideally the Aussies would want him to there till the Ashes 09 so that gives the next-gen spinners time to be groomed.

I'm a MacGill fan but the knee thing doesn't really wash with me. If it is his knee causing him to bowl badly, which I doubt, well then deepest sympathies to him, but he shouldn't be playing tests anymore as the knee isn't going to get any better.

I think he'll be back to his best soon though; I don't think this slump has much to do with his knee at all.

So we can conclude from this that Malinga > Vandort, Jayawardene, Jayawardena, Silva, Maharoof and Fernando

He's taken 16 off this over! :)
