I've heard that the 9 previous times Kallis has past 150. (Many coming from me, not saying it won't happen, but the likelihood of that occuring is similar to SA batting again).

It wouldn't shock me much at all if he scored 200 here, but to say it's "obvious" he will is definitely a bit of a stretch.

Haha, hate watching Amla bat so much. He's so ridiculously late on everything! He's as bad as Dale Steyn is amazing.

O'Brien is one of the worse bowlers I have ever seen at Test Level. Hasn't changed much since Australia toured which is most worrying.

Since not being selected for the 20/20 WC, Kallis' centuries have came at: 62.24, 49.75, 44.21, 70.99 and today at 74.01 - only 1, possibly two typical Kallis innings in there.

Presumably because RSA have three more days to secure the innings victory and its pitch black. The only negativity in this test match has come from captain Vettori. Trying to bounce out Kallis was quite possibly the worst tactic I have ever seen, considering one of the bowlers is O’Brien, whose not only slow but would find himself if he was South African playing provincial cricket, his that awful.
This wicket is deplorable for batsman and its getting worse, yet, Amla and Kallis made it look like a road. Great stuff.

Before anyone questions Smith’s presence in the side, getting rid of Gibbs should be the first course of action. He looked awful on the roads of Pakistan, where at least Smith looked relatively decent, Gibbs still resembled a walking wicket. Both are now big liabilities at home, where they use to look imperious now they look mediocre.
Smith needs a few batting sessions with Jimmy Cook and he can possibly make the adjustments needed but Gibbs is a lost cause. Its fun whilst his there but he doesn’t offer any viable resistance anymore and against better sides, South Africa need openers who can contribute.
