Don't know why teams play any more than one bowler against South Australia. Honestly you could have your keeper bowl against them and still get them for under 250. S.A. are a joke.
yep, don't know how they've failed to capitalise on all their under age success from about 3-6 years ago. they've had some fantasticly talented players come through the ranks but then some of the crapola they deliver out in state cricket just has to be seen to be believed.Don't know why teams play any more than one bowler against South Australia. Think it was Bracken who bowled them out not N.S.W.yep, don't know how they've failed to capitalise on all their under age success from about 3-6 years ago. they've had some fantasticly talented players come through the ranks but then some of the crapola they deliver out in state cricket just has to be seen to be believed.
remember about 3 years ago when NSW bowled them out for 29
Yeah, I love Peter Forrest to bits, but he hasn't shown much to suggest he'll be a good one day player. He's only 21 though. The more i watch (via live internet updates mainly) Peter Forrest the more I think his never going to be OD batsmen, his scores a bit too slow. He does however look like a gun FC players for many years to come. From what I've seen of him in ODs and occasionally FC highlights he looks like his got a brillant temperment and good technique. Mind you I how he doesn't dominate too much, so he never plays for Australia.
EDIT: Gun smacks a couple fours just after I posted.
Simmons, Mail, Hughes, Cooper (bats at 3, but can open), Burke, Khawaja and Warner (again a number 3, but can open).Lambert got the nod for the opening position on his opening for fairfield last year,i guess their are no clear candidates for opener,i would like to see phillip hughes in,altho cowan has had a miserable start to the season.
Well Hughes is a natural opener apparently. I too would like to see him in a baggy blue sooner rather than later. Massively talented player. When you're hitting Murali for boundaries at 18 you must be made of something special. Excellent work ethic too apparently. Cowan will have to go if he doesn't do something soon. I'm a big fan of his, but he's had a poor start to the season. With Hughes scoring a mountain of runs elsewhere, it's only a matter of time before he gets a call up...Hope it's soon.Lambert got the nod for the opening position on his opening for fairfield last year,i guess their are no clear candidates for opener,i would like to see phillip hughes in,altho cowan has had a miserable start to the season.
Don't care how fast or slow forrest bats for NSW as long as he gets a ton of runs, don't see him as a one day player tho watching him on the tv.But that said we are now out of the race for the ford cup.
Inness finishes with 31.4-19-38-5
Magoffin snares 30-16-40-4
Great effort.
Isn't Magoffin a Queenslander?Yeah, the move to WA may well be the best decision in Inness' career.
Yeah part from Hogg and Dorey the whole WA attack in from another state. Kelly is a South Australian. Add Edmendson to the list and WA is starting to look the like new Tasmaina.Isn't Magoffin a Queenslander?
NSW can be just as bad.Yeah part from Hogg and Dorey the whole WA attack in from another state. Kelly is a South Australian. Add Edmendson to the list and WA is starting to look the like new Tasmaina.
Meh give us Rogers back and we will give Katich back to WA. I would have no problem giving Casson and Hauritz back to their home states for Krejza and Drew also.NSW can be just as bad.
What about Stuart MacGill for Adam Gilchrist?Meh give us Rogers back and we will give Katich back to WA. I would have no problem giving Casson and Hauritz back to their home states for Krejza and Drew also.
