Some of my favourite memories of watching cricket, when Ch 9 had the score in white in the top right hand corner, with a red line underneath, and someone would work a ball through the field, and straight away Richie would say, "..and that will be 3". And it always was.

For Benaud

Yeah, I miss the box in corner showing the batsmen running between the wickets. That used to be great.

The main reason why I went for Cozier was because of his work on the 1995 West Indies v Australia series.
I think that was the last time cricket has been shown on another free-to-air channel other than 9. I remember it was on channel 10, and David Hooks was a commentator. What a great series that was.

Richie went down in my opinion after his major hilarious blunder in the Ashes 2005, Test 5, Day 5 lunch break blunder when he attempted to read Kasprowitz's statement regarding his controversial dismissal and got the first few words horribly wrong, prompting Nicholas to make the save.

Richie: "I would have..."

I do like Mr "start the pedalo" Lloyd...but it has to be Benaud Is he still commentating in Australia btw? Sky's coverage of the Australian season would be worth watching just to hear him again...

Benaud easily. Bumble is good but loses out to Benaud by a fair bit for mine.
