Shocker - Bangladesh U/19 has beaten Barisal in a low scoring match ! I thought Barisal had a decent team this year !

News reports said Rubel Hossain took three wickets in the first over of Barisal innings (although tigercricket said he only took two wickets). Shahriar Nafees went for a golden duck, Imran Ahmed followed him on the 2nd ball, then Rubel got Nafees' younger brother Ifthekhar Nayeem on the 4th ball. After that Barisal apparently did not have enough quality in their batting to win this match (academy players Raqibul Hasan, Nasiruddin Faruque, and Talha Jubair did not play for Barisal in this match).

Rajshahi lost their first warm-up match against BD Academy by four wickets.

I think the main reason matches are turning out to be low scoring affairs is that players (those who were not part of the national team or the academy) are lacking match fitness at this point. I hope the situation will change when the main league starts.
Fixture for the first round of NCL is announced. The FC league and the one-day league will run parallel to each other this year. First round FC matches will take place on the 19-22th October, and the one-dayers will be on the 23rd. The second round will start after two days break, on the 26th.

What's the tour schedule?
Does anyone know how Rasel has been performing lately?
Nothing is finalized yet, BCB is thinking about hosting Ireland for 3 ODIs, a four day match, and a three day match in March-April next year.
The Bangladeshi domestic season has not started yet. Rasel's team Khulna supposed to play two practice matches (one days) against BCB academy today and tomorrow, unfortunately today's match got postponed because of rain

On a track that was becoming low and slow by the end of the day, Habibul Bashar's decision to declare was rewarded when his pacers got both of the Dhaka openers cheaply before the day break. Also, by declaring before the fall of last wicket, Bashar deprived Dhaka of a bowling point. However, I feel bad for Abdur Razzak who had a chance to score his maiden FC century.
