Wow that was an awful start to the season. Hard to imagine a worse game than that and Spurs thoroughly deserved to lose, considering their seemed content on doing sweet FA all afternoon.

Oh dear - already, it looks as though its going to be a dog fight down the bottom of the table. Awful performance from the Hammers.

hmm interesting starting XI from benitez here, was busting my head wondering what he would start with given all his summer spending.

Was worried Pennat wont start given YB & Babel's captures. But good 2 see he is. They look strong though, but i reckon they should have tried to get Pedersen not sure if Arbeloa is going to be a great left-wing option this season.

Fair debut by Roque, only took him two minutes to do something Jason Roberts doesn’t know a lot about. And it only took Matt Derbyshire 90 seconds to repeat the same trick.

Where did you hear that? Haven't seen anything myself. Seen that Bernie Ecclestone would consider a takeover for Arsenal. What do F1 fans think of him?
Feyenoord Rotterdam agreed a price with Real on Friday, Royston is now in the Spanish capital finalising personal times and what not. The Robben deal though is a little bit more off, apparently depends on Dani Alves joining Chelsea and not Real, who also have an interest in the Brazilian.

Speaking of Chelsea, was watching SSN this morning and I saw Alex has finally signed with them. Although, his mode of transport did make me laugh, the £50,000 grand a week defender left Stamford Bridge on a number 14 bus, oyster card in hand...

You'd think Brazilians would avoid the tube if possible, really...

yer i agree. was keen to see his starting xi. i think babel and kewell will soon be starting on there respective sides. Liverpool played ok, patchy at times but could have easily been up 3 - 0 just couldnt put em away. Gerrards free kick was nothing short of sensational and he played well in the middle and liverpool looked more dangerous with him in the middle.

Torres and kuyt both played well....good start to take 3 points away from home.

gee i am tired stayed up and watched all 3 games went to bed at 5am and now at 9am i am up...what the!
