Talking of Lancs, Somerset 2XI got a home draw v Lancs 2XI in the 2XI trophy semi final on August 6th. The Lancs team could well feature a returning Andrew Flintoff...

Hmm Derbyshire bowled out for 52 by Somerset...
And to think they scored 800 in the reverse game. Why Derbyshire had a tailender opening is a mystery - I know there was one over left but you normally see proper openers sent in. Meanwhile the game at Bristol is now a one innings match? If so Essex might yet get win points. Bichel bowling well - amazed the Aussies droped him while Gillespie has a CA contract.
